Pros: Despite the fact, that discover cars allowed me to make a reservation with debit card, optimo rent's staff was very supportive and made exclusive arrangement so I proceed payment with debit card when a credit card was needed. Very friendly staff. Also offered car was in good condition, easy to use, a good help navigating trough Italy.

Pros: Nothing, the service was awful, the information very poor, couldn't hear or understand what was being said on the telephone, (we even asked and English speaking Italian to speak to the operative and they couldn't understand them!).
Cons: Everything! Terrible communication, the cancellation of our booking even though we had spoken to the company 3 times trying to find the pick up point. Why couldn't they ring the actual car hire company and tell them we had arrived in Italy and wouldn't be too long? We were only 30 minutes or so out of the timings apparently

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1400.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium Location fee, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): Italy, EU.

Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
A damage administration fee of 150 EUR will apply in the event of an accident or damage to the car.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
