Ok Mobility at Frankfurt Airport

Pros: the agent onsite was patient and polite, very productive.

Cons: In the place where I picked up the car there wasn't enough light to check the car before departure.

Cons: The staff were so slow at collection, as someone who has rented 5+ cars this year alone, this was the longest and he clearly didn’t know what he was doing. Asked both other staff members a lot of questions, asked me if I wanted to check the contract (of course I did) but then clicked through at least ten pages of the contract to “confirm” on my behalf… Very unimpressed. Tried to upsell us for €99 even though we had already part-paid, and I had to prove this with the confirmation email!? So bad

Cons: Confirmation had us visiting desk in Terminal 1. Once we arrived, there was sign telling us to go to Terminal 2, which was confusing & a bus ride away. It would have been good to receive a text/email telling us in advance that the Terminal 1 facility would be closed and advising us to go to Terminal 2 directly.

Sent email a few days into trip and still never received agreement.

Cons: Office in Terminal 1 was closed - unnecessary delays. Service at Terminal 2 was bad. Car was not fitted with the booked and paid for GPS - OK refuses to refund. Car was not inspected/serviced - oil level was very low and had to buy oil which OK is delaying refund. It is not my job as a customer to inspect the mechanical status of the car. Money blocked on my credit card has not been returned. Employees and pick-up, drop-off and desks have no clue how to answer inquiries and are rude.

Pros: The air-conditioning is not working. While we are on halfway from Frankfurt to heidelberg, i try numerous time to contact the Frankfurt OK mobility for numerous time with message and phone number left but in vain.

We were sweating for 10 day while driving. When I send email to ok mobility, they did not responded al all. Also when I returned the car , they did not mark it as return and send me a email threating to go to police. Never ever I will rent from thos company again.

Cons: One thing I was surprised about is Ok Mobility charges additional fee for driving the car into Austria from Germany. I thought Austria was a country allowed in my rental contract. For Europe car rental, it's better list countries intended to visit during the rental car price quote process (discovercars.com), since it's really hard to know about this. Some rental car companies allow visiting neighboring countries, some does not (like Ok Mobility)

Cons: The rental company OK Mobility charged me an completely absurd "damage fee" for absolutely no damage at all. And they refused to reply to me after calling them about the issue. Also the vehicle has lots of issues. The windshield fluid doesn't work (I checked there is water in it). Apple CarPlay and in-car navigation only works if you factory reset the car every time you start driving, otherwise car location is off.

Cons: I did not get the car I was promised (or its equivalent). I get it that the chosen car is not always available and that the rental company is not capable of offering the equivalent. But in case like that they should offer me an upgrade, rather than providing a LESSER quality car like the MG I got.

Pros: The check in ladies were great.

Cons: The car had the warning of needing an oil change the entire weekend and also started showing a warming about coolant levels. Seat belt for the driver had issues with the buckle and had to be jiggled to release or click in. Car could not be locked except for using the fob. It would not let you lock the door using the inside door lock and then closing the door. Backup camera not working. No one to assist us with questions when we first got to the car.

Cons: the rental's policy, because our flight was delay, once We get to the counter, the Agent said the car we book was not available because we are not on time to pick up the vehicle, ( come on , international flight mostly delay due to unexpected weather or mechanical problem). so he change the car and charged different price.

Cons: At the pick-up desk, I was asked whether I wanted to pay extra for pick-up from the terminal I was in. I wasn't impressed with the fact that I'd have had to either pay extra or take a shuttle to another terminal to pick up the car I reserved. In the end, the member of staff kindly offered me a car in the terminal we were in without needing to pay extra, but the practice of asking questions like that to lure people into paying extra is underhanded.

We also experienced a low oil warning that would indicate a maintenance issue. The vehicle itself is solid but it seems its maintenance shortcoming should not be so obvious.

Pros: I made a mistake and used my departure date as the pickup date. As a result my reservation was canceled. They fortunately still had a car but I had to pay 110 euro for a new reservation. First car had squeaky brakes, third car was fine except an add oil light came on about 75km into my rental. Other than that, it was a really nice car and the desk guy was very helpful and accommodating.

Cons: High pressure upsell tactics at pick up. I paid $80 deposit when I made the reservation but it was not applied to my rental. I think the 110 euro "new reservation fee" was made up but overall price was less than the competition so I let it slide.

Cons: Приблизительно через 400 км. появилось уведомление о необходимости проведения технического обслуживания. Все мои попытки связаться с технической службой прокатной компании не увенчались успехом, дорожная служба отказала мне в помощи и перенаправили в центральный офис, но и там я не получил ответ на вопрос , могу ли я продолжать поездку или мне необходимо вернуть машину. На 2 мейла ,отправленных в службу тех.поддержки, я не получил ответа, хотя я указал номер местного телефона для связи!!!!!!

Cons: My plane delayed, and I had to pay fine to ok mobility for coming late, although it did not say that there is a fine for checking out a car after 60 minutes window and it was not my fault that I couldn't make it on time. I was very upset about it.

Cons: We had to travel to terminal 2 as the desk at terminal 1 was shut which took us about 1hr after we had figured out what had gone wrong. Not very well signed.

El coche no llevaba neumaticos de invierno (obligatorios en Alemania desde el 1 de noviembre) y además los neumaticos delanteros estaban muy desgastados. Me parece MUY PELIGROSO que den un coche en esas condiciones. Al devolverlo se lo comentamos a un chico que habia alli en el parking y dijo que ya sabia que los neumaticos estaban en malas condiciones pero nos dio a entender que no se podia hacer nada.

No fun!! All because this agent couldn’t spend 5 minutes with us to be sure we were good to go! Clearly understaffed!

Pros: Due to a delay caused by the airline I wasn't able to pickup the booked car on time. The desk representative was not understanding or helpful at all and made me wait for 3 and 1/2 hours until they had another car ready. After a 25 hour trip and a changed flight and missed connecting flights which caused an enormous stress to me I'd expected the desk clerk to be more helpful since it was not my fault for picking the car up late.

Cons: Car was not as described and was much too small for our family and our luggage. Car was very noisy (constant loud alerts). When i first crammed into the car the alerts were going crazy and I asked the Ok Mobility attendant what was wrong and he said "I don't know, it's a Chinese car". It was an MG SUV when we ordered an Audi "or similar". Navigation on the car was impossible to operate, was always "searching for signal" and would find signal intermittently only for a few moments.

For car drop-off no any route schematic provided by the dealer, the way is common with terminal passenger's platform, absolutely unusual to other airports.

It has been 11 days and still I have not received my deposit back. I returned the car gas full with no damage and was not given any receipt - just told I would get an email and still have nothing

Cons: The car we were given by OK Mobility wasn't cleaned on the exterior. In addition, we had driven out 20 minutes when the signal lights for "no oil" and "no wiper water" went on. We had to drive all the way back to the airport to have the issues fixed.

Cons: I arrived at the reservation desk about an hour and a quarter early. I waited in line for about half an hour only to get an agent who told me I would have to come back at the pickup time specified in the reservation and would not give me a car until then. By the time I came back the line of customers was longer and I had to wait over an hour to finally get an agent and obtain the car. The agents were incredibly slow in processing each customer. I do not understand why it took so long.

Cons: I did not sign anything or was given my rental agreement until after I left with my car. What I was paying for was also misrepresented and I grossly overpaid.

Pros: the Manager went way about normal to help when I had a problem with my Audi.

Cons: I can't say enough about their great service, the traffic at the Frankfurt Airport (not their fault of course) is another thing. As such I was later in my return , but they were very gracious and checking out the car was nice.

Cons: I reserved a car, and never received a confirmation of my reservation. I had no information when I arrived in Frankfurt. No reservation number, no instructions, nothing. I ended up using trains and taxis instead.

Cons: Arrived a 20.15 for my prebooked car -we had a reservation made 2 monthspreviously. They ran out of cars. -kept people 8 people waiting 1.5 hours-2.5 hours . Only offered cars available in other categories if customers paid extra. They said they had no cars on site as 7 customers had not returned them(unlikely story) and then at closing time 10pm when receivers were clocking off they handed out cars they had all along. They should have done this straight away. Disgusting Customer service.

Cons: Vehicle reported frequent error messages. Always a small worry when driving. Personnel at counter INSISTED that car must be returned at the time listed in the online reservation form. Not at the time of day that the vehicle was picked up. Felt like they just wanted to give me a hard time.

Cons: We had to go back to the airport after one day because ergot the wrong car, it had an international tag and was not supposed to be driven in Germany. And the second car was smaller than the first one

Pros: Car was an upgrade over what I expected: Diesel (as little as 3.5L/100Km and great acceleration), automatic, GPS, VW Golf rather than VW Polo. Great!

Cons: 1) windshield washer solution was almost gone and the alarm kept going off 2) car was rented with almost no gas left and we were told that was the way they did it ("You pick it up empty and return it empty"). I've never heard of any rental car company doing this and it's absurd, just a way to let the OK company make money and it makes the renters sweat about finding gas right away. 3) The border crossing fee seemed excessive.

Pros: The car rental company (OK) didn't have the car that I have reserved. At the beginning they have tried to convince me to take a manual car and even told me that they dont have any alternative. Later the gave me an automatic car ( as booked) but on a lower group than booked.

Cons: It was the 2nd time I hired a car from OKMobility. Customer service, is fantastic, however, a control light came on when I was due to leave the airport with the car. It took two agents to deal with it. I then had to leave in a rush to get to a meeting. When reached the motorway I realised that the tank was not even half full. I contacted customer service by phone and email. I received a reply, informing me to return the car not with a full tank. I received another email with a discount voucher.
