GreenMotion at Cape Town Airport

Pros: Pickup agents very nice people.

Cons: Difficult to communicate with service agents by phone or whatsapp. Very bad that there was no working spare-tire. was almost critical for our return trip.

Cons: At pick up - Agent forgot to take deposit so was then calling me hassling me trying to get card details over the phone which was quite unsettling. At drop off, I had asked 2 days in advance if I could drop the car off 1 hour early but didn’t get any response from the agent or the company. I had to WhatsApp the agent to get the drop off details which hadn’t been provided. Arrived at the terminal and no one was there. Called someone and waited 45 mins for the agent to arrive - very stressful

Cons: Not having a desk at the airport, so we needed to wait for the representative who was “having lunch”. The pickup time you select upon the reservation is supposed to be the exact our the agent shows off on the airport, so if your flight is ahead of schedule like ours you will need to wait.

Pros: Very Good Service will definitely use again

Pros: Madoda was so friendly and efficient, process was simple even though our flight was delayed, it was no problem for him. Kept in contact with us all the time

Cons: Was asked to sign the car back in without being shown the report written on the car condition (checked it on E Mail afterwards and all was fine)

Cons: Navigation system was not on board by pick up of car. It was offered to us only 3 days later as option, which was too late for our purpose.

I had to walk all the way to Avis for assistance, I was told by Kennings to go back inside the terminal building and wait.Eventually a person came strolling around the corner, I had to guess where he was from. All this messing around cost me almost a hour in the middle of the night. Unimpressed with the shoddy customer service. After arranging a new drop off time of 7.00pm there was no one to meet me either.I had to call the office to assist

Pros: Absolutely outstanding. Went beyond expectations when a phone was found in the car after drop off. Owner was located.

Cons: Quite tricky to find the agent on arrival at airport.

Cons: Staff late on arrival and departure at meeting point. Bad condition of the cars. Had to swop cars but the condition was still bad.

Cons: Had a good experience until struggling to get my holding deposit back. I have been waiting already 10 days to receive my holding deposit back and still have not received same. R9000 holding deposit for a I20 vehicle is already extremely high and no I have to struggle to get it back. I was satisfied with the service but this has now affected my overall experience immensely. I'm afraid that due to this I will not be making use of this service again and will definitely not recommend it to anyone.

Pros: compared to other hire companies, maybe the meeting us in arrivals, although we didn't know he was waiting in arrivals, it wasn't stated anywhere obvious that he was waiting there, we called the office and were told to go back to arrivals and look for a guy olding green motion sign. It would be best to get an email or text from green motion a few days before arrival to warn customer rep will be waiting in arrivals

Cons: Efficiency of the car rental agent was horrible (lovely guy personally), took almost an hour to drive away. It was the repetive attempts by him t fill out his ipad despite us already filling al our info out online. He would get to the end and then try to fill it out again asking us the same questions then I resorted to trying to fill it out myself for him but I can't really work an ipad and deleted all the data accidently then he we had to fill it out all again

Pros: Theoretically, it should have been very convenient. Sadly, it was not.

Cons: No one to meet us at arrivals. Spent 10 minutes & 2 phone calls hanging around Domestic Arrivals before some arrived. No apology for the tardiness. On returning the vehicle, I called when we were 10 minutes from the airport as requested. When we got to the drop off zone, there was no representative. I called again and was told someone would be sent. After waiting another 10 minutes, my husband called again and was told someone would be there shortly. Again, no apology or explanation.

Pros: They were easily able to explain my concern about a potential double debit

Cons: Pick up and car control procedure before handing out, all in a dark parking house. Return at Drop & Go Agent demanded to keep my petrol slip, I told him to photograph it. I need it myself! Price a bit too high.

Pros: The first car I was given smelt of vomit so they replaced it on day two with a virtually brand new car.

Pros: Thought the agency was at the airport and was a bit confused not to find them there. Hertz helped out by calling them for us and we met them at Hertz. all went well thereafter.

Pros: Picking up and dropping off was really easy. Communication with the Greenmotion office was so easy via the telephone number provided. Would definitely use the service again.
