Pros: Service provided by Europcar was easy, simple and had good customer service. They mentioned that the car I requested is not even available in their inventory which was surprising but the offer a great alternative without adding any extra
Cons: I actually got the service from Europcar. This was very confusing and took me almost an hour to figure this out that Global was actually Europcar. In addition I was told that the “full coverage” I thought I paid for was Actually only basic and I ended up adding more money to get the all round coverage which is what I wanted in the first place

Cons: Global Rent A Car did not have a desk at the airport anymore and had turned into Europcar. The bill came from a company called Buchbinder and I was charged an extra and unexpected 144 euros

Pros: Basically there the process went well. I got the car that I order in a driving condition.
Cons: I think there was lack of human resources at the agency of pick up. I took quite a long time to get the car and it was hard to find a service person for question about the car. The main problem is that I got a car with some alerts about its maintenance and it took 5 days until I got a service that came to check the car. The problem could be solved immediately by phone with the information I've sent on my first complain.
Pros: Car was great. It ran out of battery one day and Europcar sent out an engineer within an hour to restart it.
Cons: Wasn't clear in email which desk we should go to - had to ask someone from another car rental desk, who knew that we had to go to Europcar. Was hard finding the number to call for road side assistance.. had to go through UK desk

Cons: S'agissant d'une filière de Europcar, dont je suis check-listed chez eux pour un problème qui date depuis longtemps et que je ne suis pas fautif à l'époque, l'agence de location aurait dû me delivrer la voiture à ma présence au guichet que j'ai dû mal à trouver à l'aéroport de Munich car il nvy aucune indication de Global rent à car et je ne savais pas qu'elle est liée avec Europcar, puis le problème sera résolu à posteriori pour ne pas gâcher mes vacances. Cons: Europcar (the global rentacar desk was closed) forced an 'upgrade' on us that we did not want. We booked a car but were provided a huge van that was much less suitable for our requirements. They told us that there were none of the cars we booked available, despite the fact we could see one in the carpark. The first van they provided had multiple errors and was unsuitable for driving. When we attempted to exchange it, the staff at the Europcar desk were rude and dismissive.

Cons: They weren't there and instructions about the general hire period from the person who dealt with our car were not forthcoming. Car category was 'VW Touran or similar'. A Skoda Octavia is not similar. It was a nice car, but not what was expected.

Cons: Hi, During the rent i had to change (not to add) the driver. I phoned Europecar customer service to find out the cost and what should be done. I was told it could be done with out any cost. The "new" driver must come to a Europecar agency and show his driver license. Because it was a Sunday the nearest Agency was 200 KM away in Munich airport. We drove all the way. when we got there the employee told us we were miss informed and it will cost us 62 Euro. I phoned Europcar .....
Pros: Good car, nice service
Cons: First car that was offered didn't have a GPS that I had paid for. Got another ( bigger) car for the same price instead. Only thing to complain about was the extra time spent due to this operation.

Cons: The fact that you are required to deposit 1000 euros from your credit card, and if not then you MUST buy their insurrance even if you have your own.

Cons: Abrupt, disinterested and clearly bored with tourists. No service at all at the car itself - we had to find the car which we had hired which took half an hour walking down the aisles pushing the remote open button to see which lights reacted.
Pros: The initial car I booked was not available, we were upgraded to an even better choice, the car was excellent, everything went smooth

Cons: The car itself had many scratches which were not present in Global Rent a Car's system that I needed to show to the representative at return time. Also, one of the scratches I was lucky not to be asked to pay for because I did not see it initially, but I made a photo where I was able to prove it was there initially.
