Economy rent a car at Toronto Airport

Pros: You should stop operating with this company. They force you to contract a full coverage with them even if you have contracted your own. If you don't, they hold your rental for hours and let others pass. I couldn't believe my eyes when they were negotiating the insurance price and telling me "if you don't like the price of the insurance, put yourself aside and we talk when we close, but let the others pass"

Cons: Agents at the desk were not happy - understandably since they always had to increase the price for everyone upon pick up!

Cons: we order luxury car, but they don’t want to give to us. They don’t want to sell insurance to us. We spent more than three hours at store to deal with rental car. In the end, we got proved from document from BC insurance. So they rent the car to us.

Pros: Economy is a terrible company. They offer the car has so many broken parts when we pick the car. They did not offer us a proper car at the beginning. When we complain , they do nothing. When we return the car, their service include free shuttle bus, but they don’t. We need to pay taxi fee with our own money. Because they did not offer us a proper car, there is a small piece of plastic flew away when we drive at HWY. The company charge us $634.66. It is not fair we need to pay extra fee.

Cons: Very bad and rude customer service we where calling them for more than an hour with no response, and when the answer it took them another hour to send the shuttle car to take us to there office that is just a 2 min. from the airport. and when we went inside to recieve the care, we met a very rude employee that told us i have no car to give you and your order is canceled. and we will not refund the amount of $125.00 that was deducted from you. it was around 12 AM already with two young daughters

Pros: The phone doesn’t work at economy for the shuttle. We waited a long time for the shuttle. H agents were not efficient. The time we entered was incorrect on our rental by us, so they told us they couldn’t do anything. We were super frustrated at the situation. If they had picked up the phone prior to us arriving we would have made other arrangements and not waited to find out until we arrived. Never had this issue with other companies.

Cons: Ended up getting the reservation we had after being told we couldn’t so almost felt like the agent was almost trying to make the situation worse for Some reason. We were looking for resolution whereas he was dwelling on what he couldn’t do.

Pros: Unfortunately, I can't say anything positive about my rental experience with this vendor. I ran out of char limit with my feedback, I have lot more things to say. Bottom line, I am not coming back to DicoverCars rental and definitely not going back to Economy rentals ever again <insert mad emogy>

Cons: Where should I start :) - Uncourteous and almost rude reception. I guess they were under a lot of duress due to unhappy customers. - I rented the car for 19 days. DiscoerCars agent told me that this car comes with unlimited mileage. First surprise: No, I only had 3K Km limit with additional charge per/mile after that. - I decline the insurance coverage as the rental coverage is covered under my personal insurance. Second surprise: I have to pay ~$6 / day as a penalty for my own insurance? Why?

Waited for the rental vehicle for over 2 hours. I had to lose my cool for them to respond to me. Awful experience with the company will not use them again.

They just process the contract without explaining & my consent to acknowledge the terms&conditions. They don't even check the car with me before i leave & I found many dents mark on the car & windshield which made me feel very unreliable.

They said at the desk that full discover coverage is not enough cover thats why i needed to pay more and leave deposit, appreciate checking that issue with them and getting back to me, i thought once i did full dusciver coverage no need to take extra from me.

Also was told that when dropping off there would be a $30 charge for the shuttle in the morning, my wife and I took an Uber but still got charged the $30.

They tried to say I didn’t purchase full coverage even though I had a receipt and everything printed off stating I did. Then they told me they wouldn’t give me the car unless I spent an extra $160 for “full coverage” on my already $580 car rental WITH insurance. Never going through them again. So unhappy with my experience. The car was filthy and only filled up half way.

Cons: They are a bunch of crooks and you get that feeling just walking in. It is clearly a poorly run operation and you get a bad feeling just walking in . They charged me extra insurance which I did not need . I would have left but had no other viable option at the time. I decided to check out reviews on them afterwards and you should to - I am surprised they are still in business. Needless to say will never use Economy again and I certainly wouldn’t represent them

Cons: Car was making mechanical sounds, when returning it they said that they were aware of that problem, sloppy office, slow check in, same at checkout.

When we arrived we ended up in the wrong lineup (poor signage) and it took us another 40 minutes to get our vehicle. When I asked about a full-size SUV as per my booking (Infinity QX80 or similar - 7 seater, needed room for a bike) they had a Nissan Murano with only 5 seats, and did not have room for a 4th passenger and a bike...left with no choice. We should not have paid full amount!

They wanted to charge us another 30 CAD in top of hire price.

Cons: Had to wait almost an hour for shuttle bus. The staff didn't appear to understand that I'd pre-paid for 'Full Protection' and were not particularly welcoming or helpful. The car had been washed but the interior was filthy, my wife and I had to clean it. Also the rear part of the side windows that open separately from the main windows didn't return back to their correct position leaving a significant gap between them. I had to manually pull them back into position.
