City Car & Truck Rentals at Toronto Airport

Cons: Instructions on how to go to the pick-up point should be more cleared.

Cons: Had to wait 30 minutes at pickup due to vehicle needing a wash. Fuel tank was almost empty. No snow brush provided.

Pros: The car was not clean, steering wheel/shifter/door handles sticky and gross. Glitter fckng everywhere, dog hair, puke in the back seat….. and the windshield…. The windshield was so greasy from whomever was vaping in the car previously - very dangerous to drive this vehicle. Would not recommend this rental business.

Cons: I had problems with the tire, saying it needed maintenance. They told me I needed to take care of the problem myself, that they were not responsible for problems with the tire. One of the tires in the car had hardly any treads, which I hadn’t noticed until that light came on. Also the oil light came on saying it needed maintenance but they told me that someone had just forgotten to reset it.

Pros: The car was new, there were no surprises, and staff was courteous. Their office is a bit small and you need to take a shuttle from the airport. All rentals are now very expensive, but if you have a bit of extra time, City is a good, safe choice.

Pros: I was skeptical about the service after i rented my car but citi car rental dispelled all apprehensions. Phone was always picked up and questioned answered. Rental price was extremely economical. If taking airport train to one stop at Viscount Station and taking their shuttle for car pickup and same when returning does not bother you much, I will highly recommend this car service. Excellent personalized service.

Pros: It was a very well run business. They upgraded my car for free, because they didn't have the size I ordered and at pickup they went through and the bumps and scratches the car had, with me. The car did have a malfunctioning tire pressure reader, but that was the only minus.

Cons: Car had empty coffee cups and trash we believe are from previous renters. We ended up cleaning the car and made sure we returned it better than we received it.

Pros: Rahul upgraded my rental at no extra cost and Bali drove us directly to the airport on our last trip instead of to Viscount Station! That was fantastic as it saved us 20-30 mins and he was a great cool guy as well!

Cons: They renewed everything by trying to blame me for damage that I had not done. He saw 2 women alone and thought this was his chance. I stood my ground. He found the old damage report, I saw the stacks he went through to find it. It was at least 6 months to a year old. I would not trust them again.

Cons: I originally had a mini van 7 seat then I upgraded to a 8 seat and there was an issue with the door was not opening (which was a safety issue) i then asked to go back to my original 7 seat and was told we do not have one so I was stuck with the broken 8 seat. I asked if I can get it for the same price as the 7 seat but was only given a $30 discount.

Rented a RAV4 or similar and tried renting me a Nissan Kick but, I refused and then a Mitsubishi was given better but not the same class. I had to wait an additional hour because no vehicles were readily available

Pros: To be honest, I was presented with a brand new, first customer driven car, I really can't complain. The office was a little rough and ready but the price was very competitive so no grumbles really.
