Cons: the location is odd; in a shared area of a clinic and bottom of a hotel, and doesnt feel very safe . there was a daily km limit, which is not usuallt the case with discover cars

Pros: RAV 4 - nothing to complain. While returning the car, rental person Ravi was very good.

Cons: While picking up car, certain instructions were missing, also when I called them for some problem, I was expecting return call which did not take place.

Pros: They are friendly, fast, answer their phones, and have a $500 deposit hold in comparison to Routes, for example, which has a $1500 hold or Ways which is at a $1000 hold.

Cons: There was no way to know that Surprice and City Car Truck Rental although listed as different business, share their 28 day limit policy so renting from one then booking at the other is like you never changed rental companies. So it's not made clear to the renter. But that's the only thing. I love City / Surprice. Really give a run for everyone else's money haha.

Pros: The staff were polite, informative, and efficient in the rental process. The driver who took us from the airport to SurPrice was friendly.

Cons: The driver who took us back to the airport was busy chatting with someone on the phone. It did not sound like anything related to work. The phone conversation lasted the entire ride and the driver was obviously distracted on the road, especially when making left turns onto a busier street. I did not feel completely safe.

Pros: They rented me a car. It was new and clean. That's their job.

Cons: During our hire, a door got a slight dent - no idea when or how. Surprice tried to take $2000 for this....despite already taking $500 deductable on pick up. When i said i could not fill out details of the 'accident/incident' on their form because i was not present when it happened and therefore had no information, the Surprice called me a 'chilid'. I will NEVER use Surprice again and encourage everyone else to look elsewhere.

Cons: Too much of a faff to get to the rental location (have to take a train and then wait for a van to pick you up). The car wasn't overly clean and front tyres were rather bold. The fuel was 3/4 full and they wanted me to return it that way - surely its easier to provide it full and then I return it full instead of guessing how to get it 3/4 full - so I filled it fully (losing money on the transaction). We also had a discussion on the limited miles they were offering - it was meant to be unlimited.

Cons: On booking it was unlimited mileage. At the office I was informed I had only 200km daily mileage allowance, Ontario is a large province, some days I would easily do 400km +. This spoilt and ruined my trip as I had wanted to travel a lot more, but felt constrained. At the office there where signs saying proof was required of extra insurance, which was requested when I informed them in my contract that it specifically stated no extra insurance was required they asked for proof at this point th

The van was stuck in snow (not even thick snow) for multiple times during our trip indicating that the tires are not winter or four seasons tire at all without any grips. It shouldn’t be rented out in a condition like this for winter!

Cons: The trip from our arrival at Pearson International airport to the rental car agency with two young children and four large suitcases took us longer than we anticipated. We thought we had rented from Discover Company and did not realize that our transportation from Viscount Station would be Surprice which was noted in very small print at the bottom left of the page

Cons: Got a flat tire - took it in for service and discovered there were 3 previous holes that had been poorly patched. It obviously needed to be replaced and hadn't been. Also, in the rental office, none of the agents were wearing masks for COVID-19 protection and I don't really believe that they would have disinfected cars before transferring them to the next customers. Will absolutely not use them again, despite how good the deal was.

Pros: The rental car was a great drive and in perfect condition for a very fair price. The agents worked fast and efficient and wasted no time in picking up my rental and dropping it off.

Having thought you were picked up and not having to get on a mono rail to wait to be picked up to be taken to the car rental base. Then to be told they would take $2300 deposit, then to start adding extras in like windscreen damage and tyre and rim damage didn’t really bode well with me as I had purchased full insurance.
