Cons: Deliberate misleading of customers. If you don't have credit card, you have to pay the insurance, which costs almost the same as the rental fee itself. As I checked the ratings, I am not the first customer with this issue, and probably not the last one because they are doing it on purpose, for the higher profit. Many other car rental companies have already solved this problem and you can provide the deposit through debit card.

Pros: Customer service representatives were very helpful and were able to assist with any issues we were having. Slick operation from pickup at the airport via shuttle bus, to dropping off the car and being returned to the airport via shuttle bus. If I was to return to Menorca I would not look at any other car hiring company, I would use Autos Menorca again without a doubt.

If you already purchased insurance during the original online booking, why spoil what was otherwise a brilliant service by trying to extract additional money? Stop it!

Cons: Despite having purchased additional cover during the online booking, the agent at check-in still attempted to sell me either of two additional insurance products at 60-70 euros - just say no and please stop this pointless upselling to tourists - everything else about the service was brilliant so this was the only thing I could fault.

Cons: This company appears to be deliberately set on taking customer deposits. While the car itself was new and a good ride, the company's behavior completely soured the experience. I'm leaving a 1-star rating for their attempt to scam me. My advice to all future customers: meticulously photograph and video every single part of the car before you leave the lot, or you risk losing your deposit for something you didn't do.

Cons: The only slight negative was the initial locating of the shuttle to get to the rental, easy enough to muddle through but some improved signage would have made the difference

Pros: they were very kind and honest. We called once because we wanted to change the time to drop the car and they answered, they changed the time without any problems.

Pros: Straight forward collection process. Drop off was super easy too. The car was almost brand new, and was full of tech, which made driving around the island easy. The shuttle bus to/from the airport was every 5/10 minutes so we did not have to wait long.

Cons: Keys were handed over without any demonstration/overview of the car, which would've been useful given we'd also hired a car seat which we had to fit ourselves. The assistant tried to sell us additional insurance cover when we had already bought extra cover, but it wasn't the hard sell attempt it could have been.

Drop off seamless too, quick lift in van back to airport. Would 100% recommend Autos Menorca and use again!

Pros: I've got a bigger and more comfortable car than I paid for - advantage was having more comfort.

Cons: I've got a bigger and more comfortable car than I paid for - disadvantage, because I wanted as smallest car as possible because of of those tiny roads of Menorca. Car has also several damages ale around the body, also some ones which wasn't marked in the document, so I had to take a pictures and check out whole car to be sure, ten explain by dropping off the car, that it's not my damage - deffinitelly not convenient process.

Pros: Very kind people, I had a problem, caused by me, and rental company did a pleasant job to help me to solve, and at the end we found a perfect solution.

Cons: Disinterested service agent, delivery / collection far from airport Rather pay more for a vehicle collected and dropped off at the airport

Pros: The shuttle was very well organised and the service quick

Cons: The price. Too overpriced.

Pros: Pick-up was fast, easy and they didn’t push me or scared me to buy insurance.

Cons: The shuttle service at pick-up only takes the driver to the agency. My friend had to wait for me to pick her back at the airport but outside.

Cons: It was terrible they overcharged me for more insurance because they didn’t take Amex. Made me wait over an hour to get picked up from airport. We’re rude and still owe me money for my fuel deposit
