Automania
Automania is a rental car company operating in Italy, more specifically the large and beautiful southern island of Sicily, one of the country’s main tourist destinations. In Sicily, Automania has offices in three large cities situated along the island’s northern and eastern coast, Trapani, Palermo, and Catania, and their respective international airports. The company has also expanded to mainland Italy, with a location in Naples.
Autmania as a local company is highly rated by our customers. The company even won our Excellent Car Rental Service Award in 2024 for Naples Airport, Palermo Airport, and Trapani Airport.
The company, unlike many other car rental companies, doesn’t require a credit card to leave the security deposit — customers can use a debit card, though they have to purchase additional coverage to do so. Customers of Autmania aren’t allowed to take the vehicle onboard a ferry, something that is common for Italian car rental companies to forbid.
