Cons: So I purchased additional insurance at Discovercars. And as I dont have a credit card, I had to buy additional insurance from Automania, which was not cheap. In the end, the total price for 2 days for the very basic car was too expensive.

Pros: We just came back today early morning from Trapani as we used ur services . We had an incident where we left our documents in d car and dropped d keys in the cabin letter box in d parking area as it was very early morning . Had d agent which was still off duty Martina not gone out of her way and came to get us d car keys we would have missed our flight. I can't express my gratitude to Martina . She saved us alot of hassle and money through her kindness . Highly recommend ur services .

Cons: I bought full insurance with The rental company. Anyway they found a scratch that already existed. The check in and check out wasn’t executed in a transparent way. But since i was fully covered, wasn’t a concern to me. They found a scratch that already existed, but their Photos from The sides of The Car aren’t clear.

Pros: Stay away from them, they forced us to pay 210 EUR extra for made up "full coverage", otherwise they would leave us there at the airport without a car - extortion tactics. I feel scammed and robbed.

Cons: I did not have the physical credit card with me so they forced me to use my debit card and charged 30 EUR per day for "insurance". Booking conditions say "Not accepted: Any virtual payment (e.g. Apple Pay). This is not applicable because all they did was to write down card number, exp. date and CVC code and entered the data into their system to make the payments (what you do when buying something online). No Apple pay was involved. I was robbed of 210 EUR.

Pros: the fact that when we complained a lot in the end they fixed their total disaster of an approach to their customer

Cons: upon arrival they gave us Opel Corsa. When I asked how can I get Opel Corsa if I ordered and paid for VW Golf or Similar. the guy lied to my face saying it's the same category. when we escalated they admitted they lied and said they don't have our category. after 1+ hour with 2 little kids at the airport they said come tomorrow 10:00 to the Trapani port and we will give you an upgrade.we arrived 10.25, the car was prepared for us around 11.30. we were furious. never again automania. ever

Pros: The desk agents were polite and friendly

Cons: Automania is a roque car rental, basing this from our own experience and review of others. Their business model is to quietly charge unauthorised payments following the end of service, by making up a false reports, they made up, then never responding to our own reports, objections. They would charge you quietly, no invoice attached, so with this approach, the only option is to pay AMEX, to leave the unauthorised payment to them as fraud and report to EU consumer ombudsman. Cons: They charged us extra 20 eur for car wash at the end with an argument it's in the contract. First time I encounter this and I rented a few cars in my life. They didn't say anything at pick up, of course... Also the communication was in bad english and not the friendliest.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1500.00 - € 2000.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Road tax, Free modifications, State Tax.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 21.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 76.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 29 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes.
