Pick-up instructions
Terminal 1 International Upon arriving at Terminal 1 International, exit the terminal building and turn right, heading towards T1 Domestic. At the end of T1 Domestic, make a left turn and continue walking towards the pedestrian crossing on Airport Drive. Cross the road and immediately turn right at the car park pay station. Follow the pedestrian walkway alongside Airport Drive for approximately 200m until you reach the row of car rental offices. The rental counter is the last office in the row. Terminal 1 Domestic Upon arriving at Terminal 1 Domestic, exit the terminal building and head towards the pedestrian crossing on Airport Drive, located approximately 50m ahead. Cross the road and turn right at the car park pay station. Follow the pedestrian walkway alongside Airport Drive for about 200m until you reach the row of car rental offices. The rental counter is the last office in the row. Terminal 2 Upon arriving at Terminal 2, exit the terminal building and head towards the pedestrian crossing directly in front of the terminal. Cross two sets of crossings and you will see a series of car rental offices on the opposite side. Take an immediate right turn and you will find the rental counter, which is the last office in the row, located approximately 50m from the pedestrian crossing. Terminal 3 or 4 Upon arriving at either terminal 3 or 4, please proceed to the car rental counter located inside terminal 4, adjacent to the Qantas baggage reclaim area. All International Qantas arrivals do not exit the terminal make your way to the rental counter located in the Qantas domestic arrivals to complete your paperwork and we will direct you to your car.

Pros: Provide an upgrade as they did not have the exact car model we booked I.e Kia carnival upgrade to Staria.

Cons: Was inform Toyota Tarago is similar with Kia Carnival - at car collection. As I booked Kia carnival with bigger storage boot I rejected Tarago - but they claim they had the right to provide equivalent. I had to argue -equivalent in terms of seats as both are 8 seaters but luggage storage carnival much bigger than Tarago. They finally provide a staria which meets my storage needs 👍 Alamo should refrain fr advertise carnival if they do not have any they should advertise Tarago for transparenc.

Pros: Staff at time of pick up gave a free upgrade to a bigger car.

Cons: Unprofessional service. I indicated my incoming flight details and would pick up the car at 6am. The kiosk was unattended until 6.30am. Staff at Alamo provided misleading information regarding early return of rental car. I called before deciding to return and was told there would be a refund if there is at least 24 hrs earlier than my scheduled return. On the day of my return, it was confirmed by staff on duty that the refund will come in a few days. They now refused refund unless conditions met

Cons: On arrival there was noone at the service desk next to baggage claim. I am a single mum with 4 young kids & also had no change to get a trolley for my luggage so the walk outside all the way to the end was tricky & painful as i also have an injured back.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 3155.00 - € 3760.00), Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
For certain car groups, minimal rental age is 25 years.
Minimum rental age is 30 years for car group Luxury, Premium, Fullsize, SUVs. A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, booking voucher. Renters from the following country(ies): Australia must provide the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, booking voucher, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to collect the car.
Deposit and deductible policy
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, MasterCard debit card.
Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.

Cash, Cheques, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
It is forbidden to cross country borders.
It is forbidden to drive to some locations in the country as well as on some specific roads. For more information, please contact the rental office.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

All extras are available at the rental counter. Prices vary, depending on the rental period.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information

In case of renting at the airport location, the customer must provide a valid flight number in order to make a reservation.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.

Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
