Pros: The rental agency routes that I was setup with had no car when I arrived. Due to some glitch in their system it moved my reservation to 12 pm and I wasn't arriving at my destination until 8 pm. The manager said they didn't hold the car for me and I had to pay more money as it was last minute booking with them at another rental service to get moving to my destination. There was no customer service hotline for discover and I was left stranded by relying on a customer service email

Cons: The first vehicle we rented had a cracked windshield. The worst problem was the accelerator stuck open when applying the brakes. In addition, they refused to replace the second vehicle when it had the same sticking-accelerator problem.

Cons: Dropping off the car was a nightmare. The address is very confusing and you have to drive past the location in gps. There is not a clear phone number listed on the reservation & the call tree makes it extremely difficult to reach a live rep. Cost me an extra half hour to drop off the car. Also the tank was not full when I received the car.

Cons: We waited more than 20 minutes for the pickup shuttle in below-freezing temperatures. Also, it's quite confusing figuring out where to go since they don't have a sign, and it's also easy to miss the sign for Routes when dropping the car back off. The "office" was a run-down trailer with a metal ramp to the front door, and, honestly, when you walk in you feel like you're in somebody's living room instead of a place of business.
Cons: Flight was canceled last minute and replaced. Timeframe of that incident did not leave time to call and tell customer service I wasn't making pickup time. Then customer service deflected questions and offered no help. Email has not been responded to and website offers no assistance in helping file a report/dispute regarding a lost reservation. Also forcing people to pay fully up front over just the refundable deposit was the first red flag that this is a scam operation.
Pros: Cursing / unprofessional employees - discussing and sharing instagram photos of a half-naked women with me as I was picking my car up (completely unprompted)... I think the phrase was "that's a bankruptcy women" right there - then laughingly turns and shows me the photo they were looking at wanting my opinion (half-naked woman in lingerie). Truck I picked up had a crack across the entire windshield that wouldn't pass an inspection if you were asked to put it through one.
Cons: Everything was dirty. The check-in reeked of smoke. The people were sloppy in every sense. The explicit lyrics being played by the shuttle driver. Everything was just dirty and substandard.

Pros: It was cheap to start out with, didn’t end that way with their BS self insurance requirement that couldn’t be proven.
Cons: Required to show self liability insurance policy and number before allowing me to leave. Rented several cars in Denver before with no issue like this; It was a money run. Broken windshield on car when picked up, but was assured it was safe, yet still requires self insurance policy?! Also rented a 4 wheel drive vehicle to head to the mountains (it’s Denver in the winter), no snow scraper…!

Cons: The car was a piece of junk. As soon as we pulled off the car rental lot there was warning errors that there was a car malfunction which that car error continued throughout our trip. The car had no power. The rotators were warped. The tires were not balanced and you could definitely tell once you reached 60mph. The car had been wrecked previously and you could tell. And the company felt okay enough to put my family including my 4 year old in this vehicle.

Cons: The operation is based out of a trailer with poor customer relations. Employee car totally damaged is in the front entrance walking into the building giving you a very poor impression. The vehicle was not clean, had many service alerts flashing, the left rearview mirror was completely busted up, the window was chipped, and only 1/8 of a tank of gas. I was pulled over and received a citation for an expired license plate.

When I finally got through via chat, I was told that if you register through a 3rd party site, you cannot check-in ahead of time as requested. No where on the site does it say that.

After multiple cars and someone telling me they would be there in 10 mins and still never showed up. I jumped on an Avis shuttle and had to rent a car from them. I’ve sent 2 emails. 1 to Routes and 1 to discover cars and still have not heard back from discover cars

Pros: I think I caught them at a good time so my experience was probably better than others. They only have one shuttle bus and they also have a passenger van. The DIA pickup is literally the last stop on island 5. We lucked out as the shuttle came by just as we walked out of baggage claim. We got upgraded to a full size SUV ... mostly since the rental agent didn't looking up the reservation first.
Cons: It bare bones operation... the employees were talking about how big of a rush they were expecting and given the staff/operations it sounds like they have some painfully difficult times for all involved. Do not expect a experience like with Hertz or Avis. Their terms are very customer unfriendly so really think about what you are doing with the rental and what you need. You only have a two hour pickup window so better hope your flight is on time.

Many things were not made clear when booking with the agency. A gentlemen came in and was informed he could not book as a Colorado resident, we were informed last minute that we could not return the rental car before 6am and that we could leave our car at the Westin Denver for a $100 fee, etc. The car was only moderately clean....

They said that this information was on their website. This wasn't mentioned at the time of rental. Pros: When I picked up the rental the desk clerk provide me with a assesment of the car that was inaccurate. Stated there was no damage to the vehicle but upon inspection I found multiple discrepancies. Be sure that you inspect the vehicle closely. It appeared that the previous renter when off road with the vehicle.

Cons: The car inventory was in a poor condition. Guys in front of me were only offered jeeps with severely cracked windshields. When offered next range up the cost was going to have to sit with the renters, not the company who were failing to repair cars between rentals. In my case the front bumper was damaged with a hole through it. Reassured that car fine. Driving through mountains (this is Denver) the wind meant we had a constant rattling noise and the metal sheared further into large rip in bumper

Pros: First I’ve never heard of discover or routes until recently. I purchased a weekend rental and paid for it via the discover platform. When I showed up to the airport there were no signs for discover or routes. I finally found a phone number to the desk for Routes and learned where I needed to stand to be picked up, only routes never sent their shuttle. I inadvertently jumped on the wrong shuttle with all of my luggage and a three year old toddler.
Cons: When the lovely driver from the Rental company dropped me off, I asked the front desk agent at routes why they didn’t send a shuttle. Finally as I picked up the car, the agent surprisingly told me he would charge my debt card $500 additional dollars on top of the amount I already paid for a deposit. That is absolutely crazy and should have been clearly articulated in the documents I signed when I reserved the car online.

They take their sweet time even though they know customers need to catch a flight. I had to actually ask someone to please help me cause I was going to miss my flight. They seem like they don’t take their jobs seriously at all and they don’t care if you’re on a time crunch. Which, when you travel, you basically always are.

Claimed they couldn't get into their office due to the snow. Did not provide any directions to where they were actually "renting" the vehicles - turns out it was out of the back of a Jeep in a side lot. 3. You know how you can just toss the keys to Hertz, etc and go? Not these guys. Took 30 min just to turn in the car.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, return flight ticket, 2 phone numbers (1 of which is landline).
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
In the event of damages to the car, without providing a police report, CDW and any other additional protection become voided.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: American Express, Discover, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Mileage limitations will apply when the car is to be used for crossing state borders.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Booked extras are not guaranteed. All extras are subject to availability at the rental counter.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
After one rental period ends, 24 hours must pass before the customer can start another rental period.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 120 minutes. The grace period will be honored only during business hours.
