Pros: Not much they were of little help with the time I had to spend with a tire problem that was there before I left the rental place---I made a few calls and text about this. No compensation for my time and money spent.
Cons: I also did not like that I never received a final receipt when dropping off because they were backed up---and my charge card has additional money taken out.
Pros: Wouldn’t rent from Ace again. The car was a nice new car with only 2,000 miles on it….and the AC didn’t work. Stuck with it the entire trip on some 100 Denver days. Then when we turned the car in the final cost was $500 more than quoted because suddenly there are all these extra taxes and BS Ace fees. We returned it spotless with a full tank.
Cons: Service was fine until it came to the shuttle. Ace says they run every 10 minutes. Nope, waited 40 minutes at the airport before a shuttle arrived. Then when we were on the shuttle back to the airport they skipped the Jet Blue terminal and returned to Ace. We told the driver we were a jet Blue and he just skipped it. So had to take 2 trips in the van around the airport to get to our terminal. Stay away from Ace.
Cons: The shuttle smelled like a dirty diaper and the driver was all over the road. At the counter, the lady was rude and rushed us through. Didn’t answer questions and just told us to read the paperwork
Pros: Dropoff was fine.
Cons: So many extra fees and charges that were not disclosed when I booked online. The way the agent has been taught to explain the fees is very misleading.
Pros: The whole experience was straight-forward enough. Their dropoff manager, "Max," was helpful enough but only after I argued with him. I didn't get the night shift worker's name who issued me the SUV but he was quite helpful, efficient, & pleasant.
Cons: I got a vehicle with scratch/dents on both a door & hood, + a cracked windshield. Our pickup happened to coincide with significant rain & was after sunset. The windshield crack wasn't visible until the following morning, at which point I followed up with their national call center / customer service. My correspondence, however, was immaterial as I still had to argue with their manager on duty at my drop off time that the crack was present at pickup.

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): USA.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, proof of insurance that covers the rental vehicle for damage and liability.
In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, ID card, credit card on a main drivers name, proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), proof of insurance that covers the rental vehicle for damage and liability.
In case the customer does not have one of the insurances, mentioned above, the customer will need to purchase insurance at the counter.
If no insurance option is chosen, the renter is responsible for the full value of the vehicle, passenger liability, and third party liability.
