Pros: Literally nothing. Ace employees are unhelpful and their company scams customers. The only good thing about this experience is that it reaffirms my belief that TURO is a better model than any large/medium sized car rental company.

Cons: They gave us a smaller car than we paid for and would not refund us. The first car we were taken to was dirty inside and out and was smaller than the car we paid for. The second car was clean, but still smaller than the car we paid for. Also, the AC would randomly quit working. Ace is a garbage car rental company.

Pros: The car had dents all over and there was trash in between seats and found others makeup. As we drove off from the lot, there is also a piece of plastic by the hood that popped off and we had to put back.

Cons: There is no after hours dropbox procedure, so when our flight was delayed, I was told that, if I didn’t make it to the rental car location before closing, I would have to come back in the morning to pick up my car! I had to run from the airplane to the shuttle to get to my car before they closed. Lots of hidden fees, so it wasn’t actually that much of a deal. Would definitely not recommend.

Cons: The agent was pushy trying to upsell options. We had to pay extra for car drop off after hours. They sold us the gas portion so we wouldn't have to fill the tank at drop off but got charged $42 for only 1/4 tank of gas needed.

Pros: Not much they were of little help with the time I had to spend with a tire problem that was there before I left the rental place---I made a few calls and text about this. No compensation for my time and money spent.

Cons: I also did not like that I never received a final receipt when dropping off because they were backed up---and my charge card has additional money taken out.

Pros: Wouldn’t rent from Ace again. The car was a nice new car with only 2,000 miles on it….and the AC didn’t work. Stuck with it the entire trip on some 100 Denver days. Then when we turned the car in the final cost was $500 more than quoted because suddenly there are all these extra taxes and BS Ace fees. We returned it spotless with a full tank.

Cons: Service was fine until it came to the shuttle. Ace says they run every 10 minutes. Nope, waited 40 minutes at the airport before a shuttle arrived. Then when we were on the shuttle back to the airport they skipped the Jet Blue terminal and returned to Ace. We told the driver we were a jet Blue and he just skipped it. So had to take 2 trips in the van around the airport to get to our terminal. Stay away from Ace.

Cons: So many extra fees and charges that were not disclosed when I booked online. The way the agent has been taught to explain the fees is very misleading.

Pros: The whole experience was straight-forward enough. Their dropoff manager, "Max," was helpful enough but only after I argued with him. I didn't get the night shift worker's name who issued me the SUV but he was quite helpful, efficient, & pleasant.

Cons: I got a vehicle with scratch/dents on both a door & hood, + a cracked windshield. Our pickup happened to coincide with significant rain & was after sunset. The windshield crack wasn't visible until the following morning, at which point I followed up with their national call center / customer service. My correspondence, however, was immaterial as I still had to argue with their manager on duty at my drop off time that the crack was present at pickup.

Cons: I paid for a 4x4 and got an awd. The right wiper was broken and was given a $20 credit for it. Car was not a full size either.

Cons: They sent me into a winter storm with non-functioning windshield wiper fluid. When it started snowing, this blinded me and almost caused an accident on I-90. Complete incompetence, Then they didn't even offer me any compensation for risking my life with their vehicle.

Cons: Long lines at pickup and slow processing because each customer has to go through endless upsells by the agents. Didn’t appreciate the attitude of the agent when I didn’t want the upsells. Location is 15 minutes away from the airport by shuttle. It was ok but very crowded with everyone’s luggage and ski gear.

Cons: We booked a SUV a month in advance to visit the rockies in CO. We got to the Ace Rent desk after a late flight (11pm) but there were no more cars available! Only a Dodge Charger, that's it. Take it or leave it. So I took the Charger but it had no gas when I left the lot. Then I had to drive 10 miles on an empty tank to the nearest gas station. Seriously? The whole experience at pick up was lame. I just wanted a decent SUV and this Charger ruined our trip.

Cons: Spending 1.5 hours standing in line to pick up a car that I pre-booked and paid for is absolute insanity. Even after "checking in" it still took at least 20 more minutes waiting while "the car is being washed." At the return, we had to wait about 30 minutes for a ride to the airport. Never again.

The only issue and a warning to others, if you need 4 wheel drive you will have to upgrade while you there in person it is not a website option. So although we thought our rental was set and fully paid for we ended up paying $200 more to get the 4wd we needed (this was not the $200 security fee, that was paid separate and refunded per the contract).

Cons: The Shuttle Service from the Airport to Rental Facility is a long wait. Other companies ran their shuttles 3 - 4 times over before one shuttle trip was donee by Ace.

Pros: I came into ACE Rent a Car with a $265 voucher from Discover Cars, which was totally ignored, rendering Discover Cars a useless and mendacious and misleading operation.

Cons: ACE Rent a Car padded my rental agreement in their favor by charging me $55.96 for a Colorado Fastrack Pass for 4 days after I clearly told the agent I didn’t want or need a Fastrack Pass. I drove a total of 246 miles from Denver Airport to Vail and back and had NO USE for the pass. The agent knew my itinerary and my wishes and charged me anyway. You could say it’s my fault for signing the rental agreement without checking for the unnecessary charge, which I did. Still, a sad rip-off.

They showed me spots they claimed were small dents, although even after they showed me the areas, I did not see any damage. They would not take me to the airport until after I signed a damage claim, despite not seeing any damage. What they claimed were small dents were very likely there before I rented the car, because it was too small for me to even notice, even in the "after" pictures.

One example: pre-paid for gas, was assured before leaving with the car that I didn't have to fill the tank when returning the car so I didn't. Pros: Before we drove off the lot, the attendant noticed that one tire seemed low. They immediately switched us to another vehicle and within minutes we were on our way.

I contacted them once I realized how many toll booths were in Denver. Read the fine print and it states they can charge as high as $50 service charge per toll on top of the regular toll fee. When I contacted them they set me up with a toll package of an additional $70+. I had to take it since I did not know how many tolls we would be using.
