Pros: All AVIS employee tried to help and gave a good service.

Cons: First car we received (Ford Edge) was perfect and as expected but replacement cars was not. No experienced people when calling about engine problems - gave a response from a standard guideline and did not have any technical knowledge. Car was not clean and car had been smoked in - eventhough we clearly stated that we wanted a non-smoked car.

Cons: - Reservation somehow timed out so it had to be completely recreated, risking losing very preferential pricing. - Tahoe was delivered to me with an empty windshield wash reservoir, partially cleaned, a slow leak in the right rear tire, and damage that was not recorded before delivery such as cracked windshield, cracked bumper, cracked headlamp cover. - I waited over an hour from the time I arrived at Avis to the time I picked up the vehicle. - pickup office was not clean and disorganized.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Free modifications.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Frequent Flyer Program Surcharge or Excise Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 25 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Roman alphabet.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP). Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, return flight ticket. Renters from the following country(ies): Mexico must provide the following documents: visitors visa in order to collect the car.
Deposit and deductible policy

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age), Ski rack, Wi-Fi.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Additional drivers must meet the same age requirements as the main driver (see the Driver Requirements section) and must bring the following documents: passport, credit card, valid driver license, return flight ticket.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 15-24 hours after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
If the customer is late for a return for more than 29 minutes, extra day charges will apply, in addition to any other rental charges.
