Pros: Nothing except the return process was efficient and the car was in good shape
Cons: In my opinion the desk agent lied to me and required us to pay an additional $176.11 above what we had already paid. This made the rental very expensive compared to simply renting directly from National.

Pros: Initially, it was not clear to me that I would be renting from Dollar. It sounded as it discovercars.com worked with many rental car companies. I am still not quite sure what type of company discovercars is, but it does not really matter at this point.
Cons: Dollar is Dollar. I have rented from them before, I like their rentals, but they are no frills. For winter driving, the windshield wipers need to be replaced more often.

Pros: 1- Dollar was able to correct errors by Discover Cars. 2- When we had trouble with the first car they gave us, Dollar replaced the car without complaint.
Cons: The first car we received had windshield wipers that we old and worn -- they didn't work well in the snow we encountered immediately after picking up the rental. The tires in the car were underinflated (warning light on the dash told us this -- again, we noticed this the about an hour after pickup).

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (with zero deductible), Third Party Liability (TPL), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications, Customer Facility Charge (CFC), State Tax.
Rate excludes
E-Toll is not mandatory, however, all of the rental cars are equipped with a SunPass/e-toll transponder that is glued to the windshield of the car and is not removable.
Prepaid tolls are available for 8.99-21.49 USD per day.
Personal consumption will be charged separately at the end of the rental period.
If the customer declines Toll pass / E-toll device, a penalty of 15.00 USD for each toll used in addition to the cost for each paid or unpaid toll will apply.
Please note, that it is difficult to avoid Toll Roads while driving in Florida State, so it is highly recommended to activate Toll Device offered by the provider in order to avoid violation charges (up to the full amount of security deposit). Note that it is not possible to use personal Toll device or pay on spot.

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

The maximum rental period per agreement is 62 days.
