OCR Car Rentals at Gold Coast Airport

Pros: Drop off was quick and easy

Cons: Pickup was alittle slow, would have been nice to have a quick run down of the vehicles basic functions, as very different to my car back home

Pros: Staff members are friendly and professional Car is good condition nice and clean

Pros: The people were friendly and helpful and appeared to be doing their best

Cons: Surprise extra costs and insurance coverage information not clear with discover cars.

Pros: The shuttle service was really helpful and timely. The car’s pickup and dropoff was quick.

Cons: Booked an MG ZS. The car’s engine was really struggling on the steep surfaces (not going above 35km/h despite accelerating) and not recommended for hilly trips. The car needed an oil change which was not done before providing the car to us. This makes it a risky move for people not buying car insurance as a car like this can break down in the middle of your journey and can cost quite much.

Pros: Everyone was friendly, quick and helpful. Check in and drop off were very quick.

Cons: My order was for 'corolla cross or similar' but I was given no choice except to take a Haval Jolion which is hands down the worst car I have ever driven - terrible handling, strange transmission and gear changes, we repeatedly had to pull over to sort out issues. It was a truly awful car to drive and nothing like a corolla cross.

Cons: We booked a Nissan trail and were given a MG. The cars navigation did not work and the Apple car play could not be connected due to the USB port in the car not working. Car had a fair amount of damage on the exterior. Car was not a smooth car to drive

Pros: Very affordable. Staff were friendly. Great to be able to get shuttled between the airport and car hire. We flew in late at night which was the only inconvenience as we had to get a friend to take us back to the airport.

Pros: They tried to be accomodating when we initially collected the car sighting this is not a premium van. They had nothing else available. Fortuantely it had wired apple car play (with volume issues!) otherwise I would have been even more disappointed

Pros: Maxine and Mel were great to deal with! We’re happy to answer any questions that I had (even the silly 1’s!) I had an after hours pick up, and everything was there ready to go for me to pick. Maxine sent me a message explaining were to go, which car we had and how to get the key.

Cons: Nothing! Just a bit disappointing that the shuttle times have changed. When I booked last year, the shuttle was still running for when we were to land, but was informed that we had to get an Uber/taxi to pick up the car.
