Keddy at Glasgow Airport

Pros: Nothing. Map was inaccurate to locate Europcar depot.

Cons: Insurance you supplied had a £1700 excess. I had to pay an additional £189.92 for comprehensive car insurance.

Pros: Keddy is fact Europcar. No signs at renta for Keddy so difficult to find. Europcar are sharp operators and are out to rip you off. I was offered a £25 upgrade which ending up cost an extra 120% more than my original rental!!. I thought I was signing for £25 extra and new rental amount. This was in fact just the additional charge.which was more than my original rental. Admittedly the car was good, but I certainly would not have signed if I had realised at the time. Avoid this company and Europcar

Cons: Our credit card has auto insurance coverage up to $60,000. The agent in GLA at pickup refused to rent the car without purchasing their insurance stating it needed to cover at least $100,000 GBP. The rental insurance was over $200 which was more than the cost of the quoted rental. It was a scam. To top it off, the pickup agent emailed us directly asking for a good review and to call her direct next time for car hire and she will give us a discount. What a joke.

Pros: Was quick in and out service, being i was coming from another country. Would rent again from agent.

Cons: Wiper blades were not inspected for a country that rains a lot. Did not clean window well and made a racket, however was mostly sunny so I dealt with it.

Cons: "We didn't get the car type we ordered. It didn't suit our needs, so we had to upgrade to another car for a lot of money."

Pros: Awful awful rude staff. When questioned the extra £20+VAT per day for an automatic that I didn’t ask for she said ‘you don’t have to rent it, walk instead’. Not funny

Cons: I ordered a Skoda Fabia and when I got there they said they had none left so I was getting the ‘next size up’ which was a 9 seater mini bus, absolutely ridiculous. Agent was zero help and said if I didn’t like it to go somewhere else

Cons: The Europcar heavy handed selling technique of trying to get more cash for CDW. I would prefer someone to go around the car with me when I pick and collect, not just be given a piece of paper and told to examine myself and then take photos

Cons: Couldn't find the teddy counter. There wasn't one. No signage to suggest I go to the europcar counter.

Cons: They would not accept the cdw coverage provided by my credit card (£35,000), which has always been sufficient for other rental companies

Cons: The car was a different type and smaller than I reserved and paid for and also different fuel type. I complained to the agent and he simply said "either take this one or go somewhere else"

Pros: Was really easy to book online and was easy pick up and drop. Marta the Agent in Glasgow was fantastic - very friendly and efficient and got me on my way in no time. Would definitely use the service again. Thanks, Marta and team!

Pros: Waiting line was well organised with a ticket system. Car was practically new with only 15,000 miles.

Cons: The desk agent tried first to force me take an upgrade at an exaggerated cost, then try to sell me any possible extras like GPS, road side assistance and additional insurance (which I already had). All this took around 50 min to leave dest to take my car whist other clients took only around 10 to 15 min. Also did not receive a return confirmation email as I had received from previous rental companies.

Instead of just making it straightforward she started offering 100s of extra things which I was hardly registering because I was tired after traveling. Also she asked me where Im traveling from ,when I said Spain she acted very surprised as in her opinion because Im foreign and not Spanish I (we all) travel only to country of birth. Cheeky and ignorant

Cons: There was no obvious Keddy branding on the EuropCar desk I picked the vehicle up from so I didn't know where to go. Also, as an observation the car (Vauxhall Mokka) in my opinion is quite different from what I believe I ordered (Skoda Octavia or equivalent). It had everything I needed, at a price that worked for me, so no real issue - it just my initial reaction was a bit negative
