Pros: Two agents we met at pick up and return a car was so helpful and friendly. Avis is also a good car rental company for car quality and reputation

Rental Conditions

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
Maximum rental age is 74 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom, USA, Colombia, Bolivia, EU countries.
The driver license must be written in Roman alphabet.
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit. Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions). UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website. Renters from the following country(ies): Northern Ireland must provide the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, counterpart driving license in order to collect the car. In order to pick up the car, domestic renters must present the following documents: proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), driver license with photo, that is valid for at least 3 months before the pick up date, that matches with the home address on the driving license, ID with photo.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Additional Driver, Mandatory surcharges, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
From Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, only travel to Ireland is allowed.
Crossing country borders is allowed by previous request and for an additional charge of 26.68 GBP per rental.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 70 % battery charge remaining.
At time of drop off, customers should return the vehicle with a full tank and be able to show the gas station receipt confirming they have filled the tank, in order for the fuel deposit to be refunded.
