Car Park 2 can be found as you exit the main terminal below the multi story car park. Please note it can take between 5 -15 minutes for the shuttle bus to arrive. Arriving at Glasgow Airport by TRAIN the nearest station is Paisley Gilmour Street, just over one mile from the terminal and connected by the McGill's 757 bus service.

Pros: Poor at the start of my rental , perfect on my return

Cons: Hire car rep to me sounded like he disliked women and had no time and he was very rude in fact I was dreading seeing him again but had a nice different chap on return . I wasn’t even shown the controls to the car , good job I can drive any vehicles.

Pros: The service was appalling, apart from the guy who picked us up, who was cheerful and pleasant. The desk agent wasn't interested, unhelpful and want to get rid of us. She lied about the number of charging points & garages. We found 1 in 5 actually had them, which caused us a lot of angst and worry.

Cons: The basic Vauxhall which we didn't want, didn't have enough charge in it. We explained we needed a vehicle for a journey through underpopulated countryside & were worried about this. The desk attendant was not interested & unhelpful.

Cons: We had a couple issues with the rental. The major one being when we showed up we needed proof I had been driving for two years. My license was issued this past year (even though I have had a license for 27 years). He asked if I had my expired one but we are not allowed to keep that in Canada. The other thing is it said we needed an international driving permit which we didn’t when we arrived. It cost over $100 for us to get this and then it wasn’t needed.

Pros: Are GREEN MOTION the car rental company? Or Discovercars? Who IS responsible for the original online contract? The service WAS TERRiBLE ! Please read on...

Cons: Price gouging, forced to pay for MORE insurance having ALREADY paid for comprehensive at point of sale online. Discovercars misrepresented insurance offer as FULL COVERAGE COMPREHENSIVE!! Had to pay ANOTHER 420GBP to pick up car.! Predatory rental practices!? After returning car...it was late. but was returned intact and extra time offered to be paid. Actually made another contract to cover lost days, at double daily market rate! Intend to file formal complaint Better BBureau!

Pros: The you man Kamal, who picked me up was efficient, pleasant and personable. I liked the fact that that car was diesel.

Cons: Car not valeted/clean and completely empty of fuel when I got it, despite being told it had 1/4 of a tank. I contacted Robb the manager at green motion, who apologised, initially stating that “dirt can drop off feet into the footwell” until I pointed out - with photographs, sticky marks, and dirt everywhere. He again apologised, on 6/8/20, offering 2 days rental and a 25% discount on my next booking. Which he would put in writing to me that day. To date, I have not received an email.

Pros: Fast efficient no hard sell . Abbas was courteous and polite the car was in good condition and value for money. I have been to this glasgow airport pickup point on multiple occasions and had no problem whatsoever. I would suggest to those who have... to read the conditions carefully..and come with the correct documents and you will sail through and help all the other customers at the same time.Top cars and you are frequently upgraded or given an automatic...should not tell you that....big perk.

Pros: Car was what we requested, ran well no problems.

Cons: Felt terrified driving away after they explained all the things that could go wrong and how much it was going to cost if we never took all the extras they offered. Had to take photos all around the car to keep everyone honest. Luckily we had our passport handy and drivers licence, but why they needed our boarding pass from the plane?? Person picking us up at the airport must have been in a hurry as he drove us around to the pick up place like he was in a F1 race.

Cons: Worst hire car company I’ve ever used. Charged me £870 for a small scratch and dent that I am absolutely certain I did not cause. They gave me the car at night indoors with the lights down, this is the only explanation for me not seeing the damage. Now taken almost a week to produce any type of report as to why they have charged me so much and still nothing. Feel robbed, cheated and insulted. Tried to charge me £60 more than booked on arrival...careful.

Pros: The staff were lovely and the car was nice and clean and spacious. (Newish car). The prepay petrol was a good deal.

Cons: The cost of fully comp insurance was very high. The deposit for the car was also very high. It took quite a while to check in for the first time but I was assured this would be quicker the next time.

Pros: Green Motion were great when handing the vehicle back. They removed the hold on the excess deposit within 48 hours.

Cons: Arrogant staff who were not willing to help. Kept on blaming Discover. The check in staff wanted to charge me £350 for an alternative vehicle.Only when I asked to see the manager did things eventually work out. Even he was not willing to help in the beginning.

They took advantage of me being with very limited alternatives - and charged me for a vehicle I did not request. When I confronted them on return a manager was no where to be found. They have not answered any of my emails. I am very disappointed - and intend to pursue the matter.

Cons: I had to wait 40 minutes to be picked up phoned 3 times and was fobbed off with the driver is on his way. The car was dirty and quite damaged. It was an upgrade I paid for and it was unacceptable.

Too many phone calls that cost us money and too much of our precious vacation time wasted.

Cons: I was forced to pay for an automatic as I was allowed to book a class of car they didn't even stock. I was then charged £1200 deposit for a vehicle with 2700 excess (which was covered by discover car hire) but then they tried to sell me a lower deposit, which would have maid the fee I paid to discover useless. The staff member there was very condescending to myself and my wife, and more focused on making money then explaining anything to us.

Pros: Overall the experience was unpleasant. However, they young tech assessing the car before it was released was helpful and polite.

Cons: What was promised in the promotion was not delivered. The car cost 50% more than advertised, charges were added on for bogus reasons, the clerk was rude, and the car was smaller than what had been ordered 8 weeks earlier. Not a great way to start the holiday

Pros: Very little. The small print is absolutely ridiculous. Every single person trying to pick up there car seemed furious that there were so many hoops to jump through in order to be able to pick up a car. I could say the price was attractive, but after all the additional costs that add up because of their ridiculous requirements/documents etc it is probably cheaper to go elsewhere (not to mention their extortionate £2500 deposit if you don't own a credit card!).

Cons: Everything! The staff were not friendly, and the small print in the voucher is an absolute scam. All the additional requirements and documents required just to hire a car are imbedded in a lengthy voucher document that the staff kept referring to. I have never had to jump through so many hoops and part ways to so much money temporarily just to hire a bloody car for the weekend! No idea how this company runs a business like this!

Rental Conditions

Please check the Rental Conditions for each vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may vary based on the class of vehicle.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 500 miles per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1795.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Mileage policy
Mileage is limited to 100 miles per day.
For each additional mile an additional charge of 0.30 GBP per mile will apply.

Mileage limitations will apply if the car is to be used for crossing country borders.
Mileage will be limited to 100 miles per day for the entire rental period.
For each additional mile an additional charge of 0.50 GBP per mile will apply.
It is possible to purchase the Unlimited Mileage option for an extra charge of 7.80 GBP per day.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in Latin, Roman alphabet.
Licences issued in non-EU are not accepted.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, USA.
Driver licenses from the following country(ies): China will be accepted only if the translation is approved by the Consulate or Embassy. Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP). In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill), proof of entry/exit into/out of the country, bank statement or utility bill, boarding pass.
The following document(s): proof of home address (e.g. Utility bill), bank statement or utility bill must not be older than 4 months.
ID documents must be hard copies; documents held on mobile devices will not be accepted.
Please note that provisional driver license won’t be accepted. Licences issued in Albania, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Aruba, Azerbaijan, Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Djibouti, Dominican Republic, Fiji, Gabon, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, Iran, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kosovo, Lesotho, Libya, North Macedonia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Moldova, Mongolia, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Nicaragua, Nigeria, Samoa, Senegal, South Africa, South Korea, Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, Trinidad and Tobago, Uganda, Yemen, Zimbabwe, Philippines, Eswatini, Haiti, Niger, Pakistan, Suriname, Afganistan, Mauritania, Indonesia, Iraq, Burkina Faso, Papua New Guinea, Zambia, Guyana, Rwanda, Palestina, North Korea, Dominica, Eritrea, Tonga, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Arab Countries, Gambia, Mali, Guinea, Somalia, Burundi are not accepted.
Certain professional groups, such as rally drivers, are not permitted to rent a vehicle.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Additional excess conditions may apply for drivers who hold a licence from the following country(ies): Australia, Canada, USA.

In the event of damages to the car, without providing a police report, CDW and any other additional protection become voided.
The driver is fully responsible for the cost of the repairs for any damage to the mirrors, tires, undercarriage and all mechanical parts of the vehicle. This is not limited to the excess amount.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: MasterCard, Visa.
The following payment methods are not accepted for payment: American Express, Cash, Debit cards.
All credit cards must be capable of the following: CHIP verification, PIN verification, Embossed; cards without this capability will not be accepted.
Credit card must be valid after rental period for at least 60 days.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Unlimited mileage.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Details are available from the rental company's reservation office.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.

The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Please note that the rental company will check for any endorsements or penalties (traffic offenses or penalty points) on renter's driver license and that renter may be refused the car if there have been any in the last 5 years.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 240 minutes.
