Pros: The car was the perfect size for our group and it served us well on the road. The staff were friendly and helpful. And the cost was reasonable.

Cons: I wasn’t informed ahead of time that there would be an additional charge for taking the car on a ferry.

Pros: I would never ever recommend them. I arrived at the airport and because I had put my shortened first name Nicky on the order and my long name is Nicola on my drivers license they wouldn’t give me the rental car.

Cons: See above. I had to go to Hertz at the airport and hire a car from them. Their service was exemplary. Iwill never use this company again.

Pros: The customer service. Daniel out of Glasgow airport was professional, personable, incredibly kind, and funny. It was a pleasure to deal with everyone.

Cons: Our car's gas tan was almost empty ....26 miles left. Not a fun way to start vacation.

Cons: Hidden charges meant it turned out to be expensive hiring from Drivalia, in fact more expensive than the cars you can hire directly from the terminal.

Cons: The car was 3 hours late! The place closes quite early and opens late so it is restrictive in terms of dropping thar as the courtesy bus only runs when it is open.

Pros: Gave me a car with bold tyres which would have meant 6 points on my licence had the police stopped me. Service light was on but that’s apparently standard for drivalia and they could confirm it had just been serviced!

Pros: Drivalia charged me £225 for pre-existing windscreen damage despite their own Heathrow staff confirming I wouldn’t be charged. No check-out inspection was done at pickup, and they ignored my complaint for weeks before sending a dismissive response with no way to reply. Their business model is based on scamming customers with bogus damage fees. Dishonest, unethical, and impossible to deal with. Avoid them at all costs.

Cons: Condition of vehicle was poor. There were chips and bumps on the paintwork on almost every panel and door. Every wheel was scraped. There were warning lights showing on the dash which the rep dismissed. He claimed the car had been serviced and MOT’d the week previously. The windscreen wipers were do old the left a huge streak in the driver’s central vision. Not good when driving in the rain on a motorway!

Cons: Did not trust the booking in agent at all. Car felt unsafe to drive and poorly maintained, had the spare tyre removed which meant lots of rear boot noise, dirty stained ceiling inside and poor driving condition compared to the immaculate new Kia we had last year from a different company. Car also had a dash cam fitted and the agent would not confirm whether or not it was filming.

Pros: They estimated the amount of miles we would drive and recommended not to take the unlimited mileage rate. This saved us another 50£. Competent and customer friendly.

Cons: It was very busy during the pick up and we had to wait for 45 to 60 minutes. It was just one guy. He was quick, efficient and friendly. But it still took a lot of time.

Cons: They charged an extra $130 without explanation, said they would email a receipt but never did. They really pushed insurance coverage and threatened charges for any problem with the car. They did not provide an emergency number in case something happened to the car. And, I had an early drop off because my flight left before the rental office opened. Charged me $25 for the drop off without ever stating this was required.

Pros: Drivalia in Glasgow and Edinburgh is just amazing, no nonsense process quick and easy everything is set up to help make this process smooth for the customer even out of hours drop off and free shuttle service

Pros: the car needs to be in better cleaning condition to be delivered to the customer. The insurance that was contracted together with the rental of the site was not accepted by the car rental company when picking up the car. This leads us to feel that we were deceived by hiring a product that was not accepted by the rental company and we had to take out another insurance. Revolting!!

Cons: The rental company delivered the dirty car to be used and the car was delivered 35 minutes after we arrived at the place due to the car not being available this caused problems with the commitments we had as we were on vacation and we arrived at the scheduled time to make the pick up. The service guy didn't communicate well in English and it was very tiring to try to understand him.

Pros: The car was new and clean and good value when compared to other options.

Cons: When dropping off the car there were no available shuttles to the airport and after complaining one of the employees dropped us off quite a distance from the terminal. He was great but it took a while of waiting.

Cons: Took over an hour to collect car. Car covered in scratches which made condition report pointless. Then had to take out extra insurance at £120 for 4 days and then tried to charge me £130 for a chip in the windscreen

Cons: Firstly the agent addresses my husband instead of me regards the rental. The issue of £1500 being locked out on your card which is fine for the hire duration but not for 28 working days after. The condition of the car was shocking, so many scrapes, bashes and just very poor. It also had a dash camera that we were not told about.

Pros: The Drivalia staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They found a car in our class that would fit all of our baggage and explained the insurance options really clearly without pressuring us. When it was time to return it they were quick and helpful in dealing with some damage with ease and the least possible cost to us.

Cons: We had some issues catching the shuttle but that was mostly due to issues with international calling on our phone.
