On arrival at Glasgow International Airport, collect baggage and proceed to the courtesy phone situated between the UK Arrivals Baggage Reclaim area and WH Smith. Dial #6138 for Arnold Clark Car & Van Rental or call 0044 141 847 8603. Once your call has been connected please provide the rental operator with your name. Our shuttle bus pick-up point is on Bute Road. Please ensure that you have called the branch before going to the bus stop. Proceed to the front of the terminal building and once outside the terminal, turn right and follow the covered walkway. Keep to the right and stand between bus stop B5-B8. Our shuttle bus will collect you here.

Pros: The vehicle was new and clean and ran perfectly. The shuttle from the airport to the rental center was convenient and quick.

Cons: The wait for our vehicle at the rental center was very long. We were early for our pick up time which was fine but we then got forgotten about while sitting in their lounge and needed up waiting almost an hour past the scheduled pick up time.

Pros: Arnold Clark has the most fabulous customer service! Soup to nuts they've got everything covered and they are wonderfully gracious and helpful. Our car had 1K miles on it. Like brand new. They were so efficient but also had plenty of time to answer our questions. Wish they were in every country.

Cons: More info on the car would have been useful because we clearly did not have enough space for our lugguage. It was advertised as 3 suitcases but we could barely fit one. We understand that all cars are different, but in case case, it’s was definitely a one luggage car.

Pros: The staff were very friendly. The 1st cards GPS would not work so they gave a different car that had Apple car play and we could use Google maps this was great.

Pros: We had great service from the team at Arnold Clark. Very efficient and compliant with all the COVID PPE. We had a brilliant car. At the end of our trip they dropped us off at the train station. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Pros: Very friendly and efficient. Very covid-aware with protection in place. Car was wonderful, so pleased with it. Very helpful to us afterwards as we had to get to the station and was raining, the driver took us free of charge, so kind. Staff were great, wholeheartedly recommend this company and would 100% use them again.

Cons: It wasn't clear that we would need our authorisation codes via DVLA to obtain the car hire. We had to spend time finding this and also needed to know our National Insurance Numbers which my friend didn't know. I've never had to give this when dealing with a UK car hire company so wasn't expecting this. Also had to show proof of address as well as my driving license which wasn't clear when I booked. Luckily I showed bank statement on my phone but it was quite stressful finding details at the time

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, First additional driver, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: ~€ 1155.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Road tax, State Tax.
Mileage policy
For rentals lasting from 1 days to 3 days, mileage is limited to 250 miles per day.
For rentals more than 3 days mileage is unlimited.
Details are available at the car rental company's reservation office.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 23 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 4 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Drivers over the age of 79 must present a doctor's certificate of health.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the national driver license is not written in English.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license. In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, flight information.
Residents of the following country(ies): United Kingdom are required to present the following document(s): valid driver license, bank statement or utility bill, ID with photo in order to pick up the car.
The following document(s): bank statement or utility bill must not be older than 3 months. UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
UK residents that hold a non-UK licence may drive in the UK for up to 12 months from the time they become a resident. After 12 months, the overseas licence will be deemed illegal in the UK and it must be exchanged for the UK equivalent.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

Deductible/excess will be charged per damage.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card. Only cards issued in the main driver's name are accepted.
The following payment methods are accepted: Visa Debit Card, MasterCard debit card.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
Underage additional drivers are also subject to a young driver fee.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

It is allowed to add up to 4 additional drivers.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Please note that the rental company will check for any endorsements or penalties (traffic offenses or penalty points) on renter's driver license and that renter may be refused the car if there have been any in the last 5 years.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days. If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
