Kaizen Rent at Gdansk Airport

Cons: Po wyjeździe z lotniska okazało się , że nie ma Adblue. Musiałem szukać i zatankować bo zbiornik był pusty . Dostałem zamiast suv inne auto :-( bardzo niskie .

Pros: I appreciated the proximity of the terminal.

Cons: I did not like the fact that when picking up the car, you have to check the condition of the vehicle by yourselfwithout any assistance from a staff member.

Pros: Agent was waiting when we arrived at the airport early hours of morning

Cons: There is always a problem with the card payment which delays the pick up - incorrect tyres for weather conditions fitted to vehicle

Pros: I rented second time a car from this company and all was very good, no problem with the service.

Pros: Close to the car rental parking, professional and efficient.

Cons: The car was not totaly clean, outside and inside as well. The car had more obvious damages (little scratches) that in the pick up protocol.

Cons: The extra insurance which I bought Discover Cars to have a complete coverage was not good enough to the Kaizen agent and he was trying to sell me more insurance. I didn’t. Also, like many other car rental companies, Kaizen is warning you about returning the car “reasonably clean”. The final judgment is totally to their discretion. The looked new and clean but they still marked scratches, which were essentially imaginary. However, the dust off was the unproblematic. .

Cons: All the communication was in Polish rather than English. We asked for English language. That was not the case. A lot of damage on the car body and windscreen. Unclear on drop off location. Unclear on whether the guarantee deposit was to be returned or cancelled as nobody to check the vehicle with us.

Pros: The only issue I had is that I choose a car with manual gear and after the pick up I been given automatic car. Person at pick up notice that but didn’t inform me, I had to realise that when got to the car. I had to go all the way back to the desk to raise this issue and been dismissed. I actually never drove this kind of car so it been stressful situation.

Cons: This car Hyundai i30 wasn’t worth for that money. About 60k miles on it, with no Apple car and with many dents and cracks.

Pros: Good big car, quite few km on the clock and little scratches but generally the car was newish, comfortable and spacious. Would recommend them. Will use them again.

Pros: Pickup was great at Gdansk airport, friendly staff who didn’t pressure sell all the extras.

Cons: Pickup notes had some damage on rear wheel arch, but they put on wrong side. I highlighted it on return and they said it would be added as new damage. Thankfully I’ve not been charged, but should have informed them at pickup when I noticed the discrepancy.

Pros: The car was fine to drive. The service we received from the guy who drove us to airport was excellent. So the overall the experience was pleasant.

Cons: The car wasn’t as clean as expected. It wasn’t the same as on a picture. The service was due in a few days, it run out of windshield wash and it run out of engine cooler which we had to top up which isn’t something that you want to worry about during a holiday.

Pros: At the airport. Easy to pick up and dropp off. The car was reliable.

Cons: One have to wash the car before returning it. The car is basic spec (no screan, usb charger didn't work properly, no way to connect navigation)

Cons: First child seat was broken, spend 30 minutes trying to assemble but finally had to replace the seat for a different one.

Cons: There was no tools for changing tires and rep said there was no need because i had to contact service for help. Only after i insisted it was a security issue i was not going to travel without did they agree to give me the tools.

Cons: The fact their office was closed at 6pm as I was late arriving I was unable to use the facilities. It seems odd allowing a booking for a time after this time. My original flight wouldn't have made this dead line. I've yet to check my card to see what I've been charged but I'm somewhat disappointed with a service I wasn't provided with.
