Pros: Ease of finding the car. The agent was late and rude, the desk opened at 8am but they said they could not get to us until 9:30, when called on the line behind the desk that when the attendants are not there they should put up on the front for people to see but was still hidden, he said ‘what can I do about being late’. He then went on to not follow any customer service standard posted behind the desk. The car was quickly cleaned not to an acceptable standard and had the spare keys to a Hyundai…

Cons: And a box of jump cables in the back. They overcharged on the insurance from what was quoted on their website, and also when it suited them after declining my debit card and trying 5 different times trying to use a credit card, were they then happy to take the deposit from my debit card. I could carry on but do not rent from this company.

Pros: PANEK tried to sell another insurance cover on top of recently purchased from Discovercars.

Cons: PANEK tried to sell another insurance cover on top of already purchased one from Discovercars. They nearly forced my to get it. No more PANEK-at the end I haven’t got rented car!

Cons: Got a crashed and tired car with high mileage and missing plastic parts and dents not mentioned in raport. Car was not clean, stains on interior not mentioned in raport either ( potential scam ) Panek got 4 mail an 3 phone calls about it, without them bothering answering anything. I got my deposit back, that’s good though. Not a trustworthy company.

Pros: Terrible attitude over the phone from customer service. They give me the wrong car. Super rude and told me that's not there problem to take it with the broker. I booked a Mercedes and got a Nissan. They tried to tell me is the same kind. Please!!!!

Cons: Awful manners, rude, not helpful customer service, over the phone the gentleman wouldn't even give me his name to make a formal complaint.

Pros: Clean cars, models as disclosed.

Cons: At drop-off at the Krakow Airport there was no Panek representative at the parking garage and we had to walk to the Panek desk within the airport to drop off the keys. Also, we had a mix up as we did not know that the parking garage ticket needed to be given to Panek and we had discarded it. This could have been resolved had there been a Panek attendant in the parking garage. We were informed that there is a fee for not providing the parking garage ticket, which was not previously disclosed.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 930.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 20 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 22.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

If the duration of your stay in Poland is longer than 6 months, a driver license issued in Poland is required.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): EU countries.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age).

Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
In no case will a refund be given for unused fuel.
Additional information
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 30 days. If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
