Italy Car Rent at Verona Airport

Cons: Refusing to use Revolut is the biggest issue

Cons: Italy Car Rent are a in my opinion a dishonest provider who are unreliable and do not act with integrity. I would strongly advise against booking them.

Cons: Italy Car Rent cancelled my booking because I was late arriving. I had no notification when I arrived their was no car in my name. Staff were not helpful and wanted to charge me again at nearly double the original cost. Bad experience lost all my money

Pros: Secondo time we used them, and will be the last. Both times cars had problems : no water in windscreen tank, tyre pressure low as soon as we picked up, alarm warning for low diesel additive..

Cons: We had an issue with credit card which was not working: they refused to use another card (different initial on card), they refused to change name on contract so a different credit card could be used. We asked if we could go back the day after after speaking to discover cars, they told us we would lose the all booking. It was 10 pm and my disabled mother was with us, so we had to agree to pay with debit card which would cost extra 290 euro for compulsory insurance (we already had one with DC).

Cons: Er zat geen ruitensproeivloeistof in de auto, dat was niet handig.

Pros: Drop off was quick, but only because staff had no other cstomers and were waiting around outside the terminal (no one was at the actual booth)

Cons: Car location was wrong, had to look around airport car park to find it. Drop instructions not clear. Car did not have aircon - this was a BIG DEAL given heat in Italy. Car was swapped out for another class/model. On pickup there was a hard sell on buying insurance despite having said multiple times we had coverage via discover cars already. On pickup , damage was listed on vehicle which we were told to check and then sign for wWITHOUT checking before we got car keys.

Cons: When the car was unrivalled because of the flat tyre, we were expected to go from Orvieto to Rome or Florence to pick up another one. We found one in Arezzo, the last car available. But I thought they should have brought us s replacement.

Pros: fast check in but they should have done a video of the car before hand over.. why??

Cons: on dropping off the agent was rude.. she knew where to look for damage I think it was a scam and the damage was there before..but u could not see it when we picked it up but she knew what she was looking for on return and billed us 610.00 on return. the car had lots of bits of damage but I'm sure she will not fix the car just scam the next person.. will never use that company again!! we have been coming to Italy for 20 years and never had a problem with this before. We take great care .

Pros: Very easy pick up, I arrived early and car wasn’t ready, but they got it ready quickly. The agent didn’t push me on the extra insurance too much after I advised I already had insurance.

Cons: The agent didn’t explain to me or show me the previous damages on the car. I only found it after a few days on the signed documents. Also, I specifically rented an Opel Astra because it had a large trunk space, but I didn’t get that exact car. However it all worked out as I had enough trunk space in the car provided.

Pros: Agent was helpful, amended details when not all damage was listed

Cons: Car had no screen wash, was giving intermittent fault notification for air bag and seat belt warnings

Pros: Good service but car in bad conditions. The smell of cigarettes was annoying, the stop light was not working and the performance was terrible

Cons: It’s a scam! Italy car rent has been the worst experience and service I ever had. I brought back the car, there was an invisible scratch on the wing mirror and the guy charged me the same price as the entire rental price.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. It was my worst experience with a car rental. We had two problems, they were rude not helpful in trying to solve it. They made us go to them to solve it 3h away to just detach the battery. When I got a flat tyre they were absolutely not helpful. They ended up charging us 450 euro for a under 1mm mark on the windscreen which we aren't sure if was made by us as it was very dark when we got the car and the light wasn't on. The tyre as well was already not right when we got it.

Cons: Everything ,car was all dented and scratched , the way they try to sell you their insurance was very pushy when we were fully covered

Cons: It was a poor set up from start to finish, absolute rubbish service. Had to wait until time stated on my itinerary, return to desk at allotted time & then had to wait a further 45 minutes to be served, system needs an overhaul.

Cons: The car I booked was large category VW Troc or similar. The car I was given was a Peugeot 2008, if it were a 3008 I would agree that this was large category. I had to then pay for an upgrade which was not acceptable

Cons: Wasn't shown around car to check damage was told to do a video of all the bits them on return would cross reference video for damage as time stamped. Found a lot more damage on vehicle and marked down in video. On collection found to very light scratches which were barely noticeable. Showed other damage all over vehicle and stain on rear seat all not documented. She was not interested and still didn't mark off on damage sheet I can only guess ready for the next customer. Poor show. BEWARE

Cons: It's hard to drop off the car - it's inside the airport parking, you need to get a parking ticket in order to get inside the airport then you need to pay the ticket in order to drop off the car in rental car parking. i spent a lot of time to find the place and was stuck at the rental car parking entrance because i did not know i need to pay the ticket. i was not the only one with that problem.at the end the rental desk representative helped me. it would be nice to get drop off info on car pickup

Pros: The staff are effective and no messing about. They want an easy day, so they get you in and out.

Cons: The car had more nicks and dents than stated which meant we had to video and photo each additional dent/nick. Meant we spent time doing this with a manic 2 year old trying to run about. Which this was sorted before.

Pros: Quick, helpful. Included recommend to video round the car before accepting it.

Cons: They said tank was full, but after driving 5 minutes it dropped quite a lot so was short on 5 litres or even more. Not a big deal but shouldn't be that. They said you should come back .. well it would take another hour. Also waiting in que was too long. Then I was navigated to wrong carpark to pick up car. It took another 20 mins to find it.

Cons: Made to pay extra because the car I had booked “was not ready”. Unacceptable and rude staff.

Cons: I rented a car in Verona airport, no assistance in pickup the car, no advice to make video or photos; at the return they found a little scratched on the front windshield and I was accused to have done it. They took 490.00 euro from my deposit. It’s a scame! There are many others experiences as mine as reported in Trustpilot!

Cons: Long queue to collect vehicle. No one in car park initially when vehicle was returned. Damage on the vehicle that was not recorded on the vehicle's damage record. The car had a lot of damage.

Pros: This is a fraudulent car rental company , they will charge you fake chips in paint after you drop the car , I was charged 600$ for small chips of paint. I reported them

Cons: Avoid this company at all cost , worst company in Verona after renting for past 5 years I decided to try them, they charged me for chipped paint over 600$ of a small nick ! They are fraudulent and avoid them at all cost trust me

Cons: The rudeness at the time of dropping the car. Having to argue about the drop off times. Not having the baby seat available at the time. Not being able to get the car I originally rented. Having to pay extra because we brought the car late even though we were given the car late.

Pros: The service at the reception is bad, we waited two hours to get the car, there was only 1 person in front of us.

Cons: The clerk to whom we returned the car was not nice, she didn't explain anything, she just blamed us for a tiny scratch on the rear fender, and also said that it costs 504 euros

Cons: - Initially it was difficult to locate the rental desk because it’s logo was not among the rest of rental companies on the signage - no joint inspection of the car; agent claimed car was in perfect condition so onus is on you to check it for yourself - car rented (Peugeot 3008) was a great ride but had two major issues 1) infotainment screen froze a couple times which needed a hard reboot 2) fuel indicator was stuck on 4/5 line despite topping up to full; no negotiation with the agent
