Cons: the agent Sonia at the Verona airport location refused to accept an American driver's license nor honor the car category we had booked; she asked the queue behind us if anyone was willing to pay more for our car category, as there was only one car left, and when she found someone, she gave it to them and gave us a smaller, inferior car.

Pros: The service was clear and efficient. The agent was nice and suggested a more suitable car for us. The car was quite fine.
Cons: 1. The car had a serious hit at the right side doors, and we sow it just when we took the car. I went back to the office and the agent said they know about it and it is written somewhere. We expected the agent to inform us about it in advance. 2. The back baggage door would not lock, and the technical phone service did how to help.

Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.
There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
For vehicles in groups Mini a driver license valid for at least 1 years is required.
For vehicles in groups Economy, Compact, Intermediate a driver license valid for at least 3 years is required.
For vehicles in groups Luxury, Premium, Special a driver license valid for at least 10 years is required.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU countries.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.
