We’d like to tell you that we’ve become more flexible, but the truth is that we were always flexible. If you need to change the dates of your rental or you decide to travel somewhere else, you can modify your booking in the My Booking section without charge (although the rental price may change).

AAfter arriving at Amsterdam Airport, customers have to follow the indications to: HOTEL SHUTTLES. At Arrivals 3, customers have to go outside to Bus stop C13. The complimentary CORENDON Village Hotel - Airport Shuttle will take them to our office. For info, call Goldcar Amsterdam office 0031 202 142 034.
Drop-off instructions
Clients must also return their cars to the rental office, prior to being taken back to the airport. IMPORTANT: The vehicles can bCustomers must also return their cars to the rental office, prior to being taken back to the airport. The vehicles can be returned out of the opening times. CARS can be left at our CAR PARKING next to our office (NOT the airport car park) and the CAR KEYS should be returned at the CORENDON PLAZA Hotel reception. The complementary CORENDON Airport Shuttle drives daily between 05:00h till 23:00h back to Amsterdam Airport.

Pros: Top guys waited for me and another customer as they close at 10pm we arrived around 10pm after waiting for shuttle bus service and they were very fast with the paper work! On dropping the car off the guy was very fast so good very service!

Cons: The car they gave me wasn't cleaned properly had a very bad smell and it had finger prints on all the windows stains on the seats at picking the car up cause it was such a rush I really couldn't check it properly but did manage to take a f photos before driving off cause it was so dark after 10pm. Car did had marks in few places which I didn't see at night cause the car was a black, and it did have over 55k on the clock so was an we'll used car! Would of been happier if it had been a newer car!

Cons: The quote I was given, to pay upon arrival in Amsterdam, was a total of $194, 72. The charge I received on my bank account was $430,32. Upon arrival, I inspected the car and the car was an older car with scratches, a loose bumper (left back) and a dint in the door. I would like to get a refund for the difference in charges from what they were initially quoted. If there is no satisfactory solution from your end, I will dispute the entire amount charged by you. Cons: The car which we originally got given (a fiat 500), had engine warning lights on, so we weee given a fiat panda. The only thing that bothered us was that we had paid the extra to have the fiat 500 opposed to a panda, and when we were given the panda as a replacement, no form of refund was given.

Rental Conditions

Please check the Rental Conditions for each specific vehicle prior to booking as some conditions, particularly the deposit and deductible, may differ based on the class of vehicle.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1400.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Supplemental Liability Insurance (SLI), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax, Environmental Contribution fee.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
A novice driver fee of 5 EUR per day with a maximum of 60 EUR per rental will apply to drivers who have held their driver license for less than 4 years.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher, flight information.
Optional coverage
The following additional insurance policies are available at the rental desk: Mega Relax Cover, Super Relax Cover.
Optional insurance is available for an extra charge.
Additional insurance will reduce the deductible/excess.
There will be a service charge of 30 EUR for contacting roadside assistance outside of business hours.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon collecting the vehicle.
The deposit amount is from 1150 EUR to 2050 EUR, depending on the car group.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
The deductible/excess amount is from 1100 EUR to 2000 EUR, depending on the car group.
Payment policy
The following payment methods are accepted: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card.

American Express, Cash, Diners is/are not accepted.

The daily limit on the card used for payment must be high enough to cover the deposit. Otherwise, purchase of the following insurance policy(ies): Super Relax Cover is mandatory.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Geographical restrictions
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Monaco, Switzerland.

Details are available from the car rental company's reservation office. In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Young driver fee, Novice driver.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

The customer must leave a 90 EUR deposit for taking GPS Navigation system, which will be charged to their credit card and reimbursed upon expiry of the contract provided the GPS Navigation system is returned in the same condition as upon renting it out.

Additional charges will be applied.
Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
A deposit for a tank of fuel is required upon pick up.
Diesel vehicles are available for an additional charge of 2 EUR per day.
Diesel vehicles are available only by request upon arrival.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 28 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 59 minutes.
