Pros: Efficient and speedy as it should be.

Cons: there was a problem with the navigation system: the system was picking up speed limits from all over the place: as I was driving on the highway, at a speed of say 100km/hour, then the system would pick up the speed limit of any exit road on the right, while on occassion it would just adjust to any speed limit immediately, without giving me time to slow. During the three days of driving the car it was a constant concert of bîîp bîîp all the time, unbearable !

Cons: I wanted to rent the car 18 hrs earlier than I first booked… they wanted over $300 euros for that additional time. THATS CRAZY!! I believe you missed out on some extra cash by overpricing. If it was 50-75 additional I would have taken it.

Cons: Usual car rental con. Took out full insurance. Got to the desk to be told i did not have full cover. Tried selling me full cover at over £40 per day. Went online and bought it for £6 per day. When collecting the car I was checking the condition (as one does) and the man asked why I was checking it because my booking had full cover protection. I explained that receptionist said I did have this and he assured me I did. So why did the receptionist trey to charge me again? We all know why.

Cons: You have to pay attention to the need of the passengers in terms of the amount of luggage. We thought the trunk would be enough, but actually there was no room. So the Volkswagen vehicle we drove in was excellent with only very little space, and you should verify the issue before deciding on the type of vehicle. It was not convenient for us to travel from the airport and back.

Pros: The car rental desk in Schiphol Plaza was clised, so I was directed to walk to the parking area to pick-up the car, eventually that was where I should pick-up the car. Upon returning the car (Sunday morning), the office at the car rental return/park was clised, so then I walked to Schiphol Plaza to found the rental desk was still closed but managed to find the key drop box. I personally prefer to have someone in receiving the keys and inspected the car upon returning the car to dropbox.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 900.00), Theft Protection, Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability (TPL), Vehicle registration fee, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Mileage policy
For all customers, except local renters the mileage is unlimited.
For local renters mileage is limited to 200 km per day.
For rentals of 28 days or more, mileage is limited to 108 km per day. Each additional km will cost an additional 0.17 EUR to 0.27 EUR, depending on the car group.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 18 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.

Maximum rental age is 80 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.

Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age).

Booked extras are not guaranteed. All extras are subject to availability at the rental counter.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Netherlands.
The use of snow chains is not allowed on public roads.
The vehicle must be returned in an acceptably clean condition in order to avoid additional charges.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is not available.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
