Cons: Vague instructions at pick-up when asked to assist with guidance and direction for drop off at end of rental . For someone unfamiliar with the airport in question, this was essential. As it happened, we missed the tiny sign for the car rental area and had a 20min/15km M-way journey go-around to get back to the correct entry road

Pros: When picking up the car, the Firefly agent was extremely moody and unhelpful. He was obviously pissed that we did not want to buy his additional insurance. Also we got an upgrade that we did not want. We asked him to provide the car that we had asked for (Seat Leon or similar). This was not possible. Then we asked if Firefly could give us a car that was one size smaller (Seat Ibiza or similar), of which there seemed to be many available. Again the answer was NO.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Mileage: 600 km per rental, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1000.00), Theft Protection, Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 25 years.
A Young driver fee is not applied.
There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 70.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): EU countries.
Otherwise, the renter must provide an International Driver Permit (IDP).
A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
