Pros: After reading lots of Google reviews for Centauro and many other companies which tend to be only of 5 star or 1 star rating, I’ve come to the conclusion that I must take the extra insurance for “zero deductible”. So far I have 2 experiences with Centauro, both with the extra insurance, this one in Spain in 2026 and in 2025 in Sicily, and both rentals were right up to the 5 star rating. Pros: Centauro provides a shuttle bus from and to the airport and it is very close to it. Natalia (Centauro's agent) collected me from the pick up point which is very easy to find. She was very helpful and efficient, always with a smile on her face and very pacient with customers requests. Thanks to Natalia, the collection process of the car was smooth and easy.

Pros: People trying to help but honestly the insurance is a theft as well as the rental of a seat for a kid (49€ for 1 week!). I could buy one for that price, a new one and get it for myself. Total what I should have paid less than 200 € for a week cost me 347 € for this crazy insurance. Unbelievable.

Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 75.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

Driver licenses will be accepted if issued in the following country(ies): United Kingdom, EU.
Driver licenses from all other countries must be accompanied with International Driving Permit (IDP).
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: a round-trip flight or train ticket covering the rental dates.

Only physical driver's licenses are accepted (not digital versions).
Deposit and deductible policy
A separate fuel deposit is required when collecting the vehicle.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Cross border fee.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.


Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a certain amount of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Spain.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 29 days.
If the renter would like to extend the rental period, renter should return to the car hire office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
Business hours
In order to have service out of hours, the renter must provide the following information: Flight number, train number.
A maximum of 2 hours is available for service outside of business hours. The supplier will hold the vehicle for 12 hours after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
