Dollar at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport

Pros: Everything super-easy at PHX (except, of course, the entire car rental centre being situated several kilometers from the terminals). Also, the auto photo video of the car condition on leaving and returning

Cons: There was no service. I picked-up the keys and drove away.

Pros: Nothing!!! I was overcharged for a horrible vehicle and it took an hour to get it done. Never again!!

Cons: They did not have the car we booked and we had to pay extra unless we would have to wait for a long time and it was late at night. This is a trap for them to make money. Never dollar again. Long line up at the counter even if we did the online Check-in. Totally ridiculous.

Cons: They did not have cars to be rented when we arrived and had to wait for them to get cars returned and prepared to be rented.

Pros: The car seemed relatively new and was clean (though it was obvious it had hastily been run through a car wash right before I picked it up).

Cons: The agents were slow, unprofessional, tried to "upsell" unnecessary add-ons, and I reserved a Civic but was given a Nissan Versa.

Cons: I fill the check in app before arriving, but getting message my car was out of stock. I got in line at the counter for 2 hours before getting to a clerc. I was told my car (polestar) was not available my only choice, an upgrade to a malibu for 450$ upgrade fee. No compassion from clerk from hertz there just to help dollar huge lineup. After waiting for 2 hours and seeing line at every other car rental company I didn’nt really have choice. When I got in parking lot saw 3 polestar available.

Cons: First vehicle was missing spare tire and jack. Had to return to the airport to exchange vehicle. There was something on the inside of windshield which made it difficult to see through at night. I had to purchase glass cleaner to remove

Cons: the whole check in expereince and then I was charged on the way out for gas even though i filled it up just before i dropped it off! I was charged for 4 gallons which is so ridiculous at over $10 a gallon. I had to call LONG DISTANCE to get this charge hopefully reduced

Cons: No cars upon arrival, forced to take electric vehicle after I specifically requested gas car because it was 118 degrees. Battery would not recharge. Had to go back to the airport and wait over an hour AGAIN to electric exchange car after I had spent an hour on the phone and they guaranteed a gas car would be ready and waiting for me. It was not. They tried to give me a car with obvious damage that was likely unsafe to drive. From my hotel it was 1 and 1/2 hour drive to airport each way.

Cons: No cars were available when I arrived, and I didn't feel like waiting an indefinite amount of time after seeing a wait list of over 18 names.

Cons: Rental agent was having a really bad day and transferred that to customers with VERY poor attitude and a snarky, snappy mouth. As a younger man, I would have smacked it for him. It was THAT insulting. At the time, I remembered my encounter with him from a previous rental when I was also put off by his attitude and rude demeanor. He's a large man needing to be taken down a peg. The black man behind the counter with him recognized the effect he was having and was attempting to temper that effect.

Pros: I liked the car very much. no issue at all Do I feel like we totally got ripped off with hidden fees - absolutely.

Cons: I feel like you stole my money. and there was 'nothing you could do' after charging an extra $500 not initially mentioned when I reserved the car. Disappointed.

Pros: Normally in other rental companies I have seen spouse added as additional driver at free of cost.But it is not the case with dollar. Also the agent pushing us to buy additional insurance when I have my own personal insurance.

Also please mark to the paper literally the Navigation address of rent car return address to ensure and help the client to find your rent car return address! I think the most of your clients will be very frustrated when they must to find themselves a correct rent car return address for navigator!
