Pros: The agent I deal with when I pick up the car is pretty helpful. Location is easy to find.

Pros: My designated car had not been returned on time, so they offered me an alternative which was a much better vehicle

Cons: I had a death in the family and had to change my reservation to one week earlier and told them at pick up that I would be leaving one week early. When I returned the car, they said that there would be no refund for the 5 days left on the reservation. I was extremely disappointed.

Pros: Everything was incredibly easy, efficient and I thought good value.

Cons: LDV car was aged and tatty inside. Very odd cruise control with braking on the back wheels giving it a very jerky ride. Would not want an LDV again.

Pros: The car was damaged on collection but this was pointed out immediately. The service provider was very helpful and very knowledgeable. Thank you for your service.

Cons: I certainly did not like the insurance option which was exorbitant to avoid the $5,000 excess. I would have preferred to pay a higher base rental and have a lower excess. This would be the only thing that would make me consider an alternative next time.

Cons: The Fijian guy at the counter was incredibly rude and arrogant. I was given a different car and the remote central locking was not working.

Cons: I was not aware of the toll requirement. As I result I sign up the toll apps. When I check at the end of rental, i was told there will be invoice for the toll charges. if i was told earlier I would not have taken the action to sign up the toll app

Cons: Devil is in detail. $5000 excess is extorsion. Pay 50% of rental fee to reduce excess also extortion. Bait and switch tactics as used by low reputation budget airlines. Information given could be improved by a huge amount if any care was given to put yourselves in the shoes of someone who rarely ever rents a car. Alpha may be old brand but seems just another generic company, nothing to differentiate from any other company, just the lure of cheap laced with traps to trip the unwary. Do Better!

Pros: Overall, it’s value for money except for arranging free shuttle pick up from the MEL airport. We waited for a while to connect an agent to arrange airport pick up.

Cons: The pick up at the Airport took ages - over half an hour. The car was crap. The back seat was filthy. I was shown a VW Golf and got an MG.
