Pros: Not alot my suitcase was left in the van. It was early hours of the morning my suitcase was left in the van I was exhausted and didn't get a call until I had driven about 15mins. I had to drive over an hour away so I phoned in the morning to see if they could courier to me the guy was extremely rude and when I asked to speak to the manager he said he was the manager I asked for his name and he hung up on me

Cons: It was a little far from airport,and if my cousin didn't come with me on drip off ,I'm not sure I would have found it

Cons: the address to return the car as on keys was incorrect - this caused time wasting

Pros: Fairly easy pickup process. Our car was presumably upgraded but nobody mentioned anything about this.

Cons: Transfer company seemed disorganised and overworked. There was also apparently no time to be shown the car's features as we were rushed out the gate and the only worker drove off. When we returned the car we (and several others) all had to wait a significant time for the bus to depart and with the huge traffic jam at the Melbourne airport we had to run and only just managed to check in our cases despite allowing an hour extra for this to happen.

Pros: Read my comments above. They were great, the process was easy and efficient.

Cons: The bus pick-up at the airport. We were told to wait opposite T2 in Melbourne, but the driver went straight pst us. Luckily we RAN the 100 metres to where he stopped as the driver was about to drive off without us, and did not even try to apologise.

Cons: The car provided was expired registration. Police stopped our car, and ask us return the car to the rental company. We bought the full insurance for this rental, but we got the expired registration car. This is unfair and disappointing us. Can you imagine if any accidents happen to us during the trip, how can we claim for the insurance?

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff - even though the vehicle wasn't ready (they hadn't received our pickup request) and we had a long wait. We appreciated that they worked hard to get things solved. When we wanted to extend the rental by a day, they were quick and efficient to deal with.

Cons: We found in the morning after collecting car in dark at midnight minor undisclosed damage so did what was on the form and photographed and sent them with a text to number on form but got no reply. Not good enough

Cons: They don’t have a service counter in the airport or near the airport. No one answer the call if you are emergency. They called me in early morning for my information.

Cons: After picking up the car, I received a call from customer service three days later, asking me to return to their office to sign a contract and provide my credit card information again. I recalled that I had already signed the necessary documents and that they had photocopied everything when I picked up the vehicle. The customer service representative, who spoke with a heavy Indian accent, was quite impolite. It felt as though he was blaming me for not ensuring they did their job correctly before

Cons: The car was fairly tatty with lots of bashes and scratches. The instructions for how to get picked up at the airport were not clear yet could have been very simple if the correct pick up area had been described.

Cons: No manual in car We asked and booked fan AWD, got a 2 wheel drive. We sent an email 4 months ago double checking that we are getting an AWD. We did not.

Pros: Everything from the booking to the final returning of the keys and vehicle. The vehicle was perfect for myself and family throughout our travel in Melbourne. Great value for money too. Easy pick up and drop off, super cool and friendly shuttle drivers. Would highly recommend and will definitely be using Advance Car Rental again.

Cons: A1 Parking staff were superb 👌 thank you all so much. If this is the service that they provide all the time then I am sure every customer leaves Melbourne raving on about them because I know I definitely will be.

Pros: I highly recommend Advance Car Rental. The car unit is very new. The front desk service personnel at A1 parking is very clear and efficient.

Cons: The car agent did not brief us much about the car that we are renting. Probably because they thought we are used to the car. But all is good when we asked them, they brief us loud and clear about the car that we are renting :)

Cons: the depot was a car park quite a distance from the airport - the agent there was not from the rental company and was just there to hand out keys - would not confirm any price or insurance details. We left there without any confirmation of what we would be paying - very unprofessional

Also unsure who to contact when charged for excess mileage on first rental, even though I didn't do it and the person at the desk had altered the odometer mileage. Still unsure what the final cost will be. Not sure why I am paying a $55 airport surcharge when the car is not at the airport.

Cons: The car return process is a nightmare as it is handled by the A1 airport parking staffs who are rude and unfriendly. They have forced us to take the shuttle bus and not given us sufficient time to check for any leftover item. Also they have damaged one of our luggage as the bus driver literally thrown our luggage into the bus.

Suggest you make a simple message, as part of correspondence, that details where to go and what bus service to get. Also, not clear on how I pay for tolls. Pros: After discussing with the car rental company, at the end we weren't charged for a 12 seater van, which was reasonable.

Cons: We did not get the 12 seaters we requested and paid for. Our rental car was replaced by an 8 seater and a small tiny car which had damage at the back bumper. We spent about 3 hours waiting for the cars because a small car had to be arranged. Was not a pleasant experience and we had to drive 2 cars everywhere rather than a 12 seaters van which would had fit us all in.
