Pros: Clean car in decent condition.

Cons: The Addcar representative was not there on arrival and we had to call him. Then we were asked for a deposit of 2500 EUR despite that only 1500 EUR was agreed as per the Discover Cars booking. The Addcar representative would not reason with us and only after 20 min of arguing he called his manager who agreed to lower it to 2000 EUR. Never again.

Pros: The car was damaged. It was dirty when it was dropped off. We had to wait an hour to collect it. We weren’t informed it wouldn’t be there on our arrival. There was only 1/8 petrol in the tank when we got it. The agent was abusive and threatening.

Pros: I received a different car from what I booked because was not available. But the company provide me a better one. Same category of course. Car was perfectly.

Cons: I didn’t like the that Addcar doesn’t have a desk or office at the airport. No one was waiting there even if was advertised on the website. I had to call the agent and he came after more then one h. The car rental agent was a bit confused about the deposit and the preauthorisation and even if I was full covered he was forcing me to pay for an insurance.I had to call the discover car Hire support to find out what to do. After the car dropping didn’t receive any document signed by the agent.

Pros: The car was reasonable and higher spec than we had booked.

Cons: Terrible service. No communication. Not met at gate as promised. Kept waiting for an hour. We told them the time we were dropping off the car but there was no one to meet us. After phone calls and being told he would be there in 15 minutes he hadn't turned up after half an hour and wasn't answering the phone. I texted to say we had to go for our flight and only then was told to leave the keys in the car and leave it.

Pros: Nothing to like about this company

Cons: No service desk, pushy on buying their own insurance despite the fact that I already had one arranged via discover car hire website.The local car hire company did not respect pick up and drop off times, car wasn't cleaned and they honestly did not look professional at all.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 800.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Third Party Liability (TPL), Airport surcharge, Free modifications, State Tax.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A senior driver fee applies to drivers over the age of 70.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form.

In order to pick up the car, the following documents are required: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/collection service is not provided.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
By law, winter tires are mandatory on all roads from 15.11 to 15.04.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 59 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
