Rennes is an interesting city and it is better to explore without a car. Europcars can be collected from a city office. However for us at the time it was more economical to collect from the airport. For a tourist wishing to visit other parts of Bretagne it is better to collect cars at the airport as it is easier to reach the surrounding main roads.
