But drive west instead of east, and you’ll soon reach the border of Wales, and, soon after, a vast expanse of nearly untouched nature. Made up of magnificent peaks, rolling green hills, highland lakes and protected wildlife, Snowdonia is one of the most beautiful nature preserves in the United Kingdom. Located just a 90-minute drive from Liverpool, it can be visited on a day trip.

Location

Liverpool Airport is about 12 km (7.5 mi) southeast of the city center. Speke Hall Avenue, Speke Road, Jericho Lane, Riverside Drive, and Sefton Street are the main roads connecting the airport to the city.

You’ll find many stores, including duty-free outlets, and there are numerous coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. The Aintree Food Village is on level 3. You’ll also find ATMs, currency exchanges, an on-site hotel, baby changing facilities, mobile device charging pods, a lost and found office, a spa, a multifaith prayer room, and exhibits about John Lennon and the Beatles. It’s also possible to join an airport tour. Left luggage services are offered daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the information desk on the ground floor.
