Szczecin is very interesting city, close to Germany, only 2 hrs by car to Berlin. Restaurants are cheap and people on streets are very nice and helpful. If you wish to buy brand products go to huge malls like Kaskada. Don't miss famous place Waly Chrobrego close to the Odra river, particularly in summer
