AutoRent Cyprus at Paphos Airport

Pros: Car was only party clean and no washer bottle liquid

Pros: The office is a bit out of the way but the agent came and picked me up, at midnight, in less than 10 minutes. I dropped a pin so i could easily find my way back. I found the process quick, easy and the agent, helpful and friendly. The car was an upgrade to what I’d reserved so very pleased with that too!

Pros: Easy description for pick up, great transfer (5min drive) from just outside airport (less than 2 min walk). Paperwork clear and completed within 5 mins. Car was in okay condition, no problems with it throughout trip, all previous damage (minor scratches) logged correctly on paperwork prior to arrival. Petrol level was lower than stated on paperwork but staff stated if it’s lower just take a picture to prove it prior to leaving with car, and show picture upon return, no issues in return.

Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Automatic. Worked perfectly

Pros: Pick up and drop off very efficient

Cons: Not alot. Great service and value. Car felt a little old. But was fully reliable

Pros: really friendly, not over zealous like some hirers, great attitude

Cons: I was expected to have read a message to be notified about the pick up point being changed before I got phone and internet connection.

Cons: The transfer pick up was at a garage off the airport site, presumably to save money. The actual car collection took forever. The customer in front of us was given a car that wouldn’t start and there was an interminable wait while someone came to assist. The car I was given became more reluctant to start until on the third day the battery was dead. It took 2 hours to get someone out to replace the battery, despite the journey time of 30 minutes. A real holiday spoiler I’m afraid

Cons: On return, going man was not happy for some reason(send to me rushed and said he was on his own). He made us loads the luggage into the transit vehicle and unload it. He also didn't drop us off and the pickup point but at the 5 minute drop off.. We had a load of luggage for 5 people of which 3 had to get a taxi due to luggage for 5 people. Not good customer service!!

Pros: Great people/representatives

Cons: Very poor cars/old with well over 100,000km. My car has warning signs all the time I drove it and was told not to worry about them!!

Pros: Perfect service, minibus came to pick us up after 2 minutes of calling them!

Pros: Service was good. Paperwork completed quickly and efficiently. Collection from the airport was easy once we had spoken to them. Returning car was very straightforward

Cons: Car was ok but quite old. There were scratches and dints all over it. This didn't really bother me as it would probably pick up more due to the roads and loose stones everywhere, and rental staff acknowledge this. Car was a bit noisy but it did the job and the main thing was the a/c was icy cold! Price was good.

Pros: Picked up at airport .we were delayed over an hour but the auto rent guy sat and waited for us. Then a few minutes by car to car rental

Cons: The car condition was knackered but it did the job so can’t complain

Pros: Giving the car back, the service was quick and efficient.

Cons: The first car we were given had all sorts of red warning lights coming on. We took it back straight away and were told not to worry about them. However the car started having problems and so we had to go back to the company the next day to change the car.

Pros: Fast, friendly, problem free. Car was easy to drive and had all needed functions.

Cons: The car was set to be returned with 4/10 fuel but it was actually starting on 3/10 And a pannel on the drivers side was lose and could have been blamed on the driver. However overall it was no problem and the experience was great.

Pros: Friendly, wide options of cars to choose from and was very accommodating to the timings of our awkward flight times.

Cons: Could not fault them. Already planning on using them again when we visit again.

Pros: He called me straight away when I landed and asked if everything is ok and then told me where he will pick me up and take me to car rental site. He picked me up 5 min later and up we go. He took us to the car rental site and it was clean and there was some good cars. Reception was clean and spot on. Paperwork was quick and fully explained and very easy to fill up. I had no accidents or anything to call them, but I was given two emergency 24/7 numbers just in case.

Cons: I liked everything.. just run out of space in “ what good I can say about car rental “ 😅 We needed to give car back 4am, because we had a flight at 5:45am and even then he was super professional and quick. I had no damage or anything, so it was quick and he took us back to airport. Top car rental . If I’m coming back, that’s where I’m going .

Pros: Quick on arrival for pick up just after the plane landed, excellent as we have no luggage. Made sure we had a Skoda Fabia which we like as it suits us in Cyprus

Pros: The car wouldn’t start on our 2nd day it had a flat battery the representative from auto cars was with us in under half an hour & swapped cars.

Pros: Personal, friendly, felt I was interacting with a Cypriot business, not an international entity. They were cheaper too as their site was a couple of km off airport, not a problem for us. Also very happy to not have a brand new car as many roads are rough and throw up chips.

Cons: The car provided was positioned to me as an upgrade from my booking. Every panel of the car was scratched and dented. Bumper was attached, fan belt was slipping and noisy as was the power steering pump. The car was advertised with full to full for fuel but only 3/4 of a tank. Paid deposit using Amex card, told at collection balance couldn’t be paid in the same way. My wife cut her leg on interior sharp edged damaged trim resulting in a visit to a chemist and subsequent bruising.

Pros: Not much to not like.

Cons: Discovery cars not warning you when picking up the vehicle you have to pay excess on a credit card NOT debit. This is irrespective of if you paid for vehicle with debit card.

Pros: First car had a wheel defect lady wasn’t keen to change it but my husband insisted. Second car engine management light was in as soon as my husband started the car but the lady had left to go to the airport. We had to return that car and a man tried telling us it was fine and it was the petrol. My husband by trade is a motor mechanic and has over 50 years in the trade so a third car was arranged. The third one the air con didn’t work but we just put up with it. Would never go back again

Cons: Pick up a bit hit and miss. Had to calll to get pickup. Car was tired and high mileage. No boot cover to conceal luggage.

Pros: The final outcome see ' didn't like '. The GM replaced the car for a better one, refunded the money I had paid out and reimbursed a day's rental from their original charge of 160 Euros . I still had to pay 80 Euro for the tyre even though I had taken out their insurance!!!

Cons: I had a tyre blow out at a dangerous road junction. It was getting dark and I was on my own (female). I called for their inclusive emergency assistance and they said they would call me back ...They didnt. I had to pay someone to change the tyre for the space saver. I called the following day several times and their response was that they were busy!! I called the next day nd was asked to take the car back to their office (20 miles away). I spoke to the GM who's said they had staffing difficulties

Cons: the car is old and in bad technical condition, suspension was dead, air conditioning low.

Cons: Was only 1 person working who seemed incredibly stressed and overall very rude on the last day dealing with multiple pick ups and drop offs alone making us leave later to the airport than we intended, simple slow puncture on a tyre they ended up charging us over €80 there is 0 chance that tyre was beyond repair, so if you rent with these you’ll definitely need full cover, was supposed to come with a full tank was given to us with half, another couple picking up the day we left had an empty tank

Pros: Everything. The agent rang to say he was waiting at arrivals exit at airport with the minibus. When we came out I rang him back and he was there waving. Excellent.

Pros: I actual recommend them, but they need to me more aware of the conditions of the car, I just got a auto when I ask for manual. When changed I just got a uncleaned car, tire was down, and petrol nearly non. The overall service from the employee was very good quick and polite, and happy to help, but I don't thing the conditions of the car was great. Just advice a bit more checking before giving the car to the customer.

Pros: Very helpful when I didn't want an automatic ..... as never driven one. Drove us to hotel and would bring car next morning.

Cons: The car didn't appear until late afternoon. I appreciated very much their efforts to to find me a manual car. But a day of the holiday was wasted. The offices are not well marked, the promised message with instructions to find them did not come. The instructions for pick up were inaccurate.

Pros: The lady who worked there was brilliant - really helpful, efficient and friendly. Great value. The car wasn't in great condition as they were a bit short of cars, but we prefer that anyway as you don't feel so scared about getting a scratch!

Cons: The car key battery ran out, so we had to get it replaced but the lady did so very quickly with no bother at all.
