Vancouver Aquarium is a must-see. The Teahouse in Stanley Park is a really nice restaurant, and Nero Waffles downtown is an amazing all-day waffle place. Victoria and Tofino are both beautiful, and both worth visiting. Also, if you want to go whale watching, go with Prince of Whales. They're great!

I came to Vancouver to spend time with my grandma. She had her birthday and turned 87years. Took her for shopping and visit her families and friends

During Covid this car was triple the regular price and we resented the expensive program. Roots staff made it easy to return, off hours.

I rented a car to go to whistler. It was nice to be able to stop and take in the views of the mountains

Vancouver itself has good public transit, but there are many great outdoor areas outside the city, and driving is easy enough that you shouldn't have trouble navigating the city or surrounding areas. Be sure to drive up to Whistler and see the mountains!

Vancouver is great. Victoria, Parksville and Campbell river are great. Calgary is boring. Just don’t hire a car through routes.

I had a good experience with renting a vehicle from Routes except one hour of waiting to pick up a vehicle. I hope its more organized then people do not have to wait for a few hours.

Vancouver is a wonderful modern city, surrounded by rich and verdant landscape that is both the perfect backdrop when walking the streets and lures you away to explore more of the country.

Vancouver is a beautiful place! While I didn't get to spend as much time there as we were heading up to whistler. I would say Gas Town is beautiful. Just walk around and admire the architecture of the city. Tuc Craft Kitchen was a great restaurant and definitely recommend. Charisma was a nice boba shop with great milk tea and cheesecake.

I would not recommend a big all wheel drive unless you are going to the boonies in winter

Expect to spend hours sitting in stationary traffic while in Vancouver but outside the city it's wonderful. Driving is easy and fast and Canadians are generally good drivers.
Covered over 2300Kms and roads are good but not always hard surfaced when up north.
Watch out for trucks, they go just as fast as you.
