    Wow what a nice place to visit lots of places to see, lots of great lavada trails, incredible scenery everywhere, the weather was great, the ocean was beautiful. The only issue was our hotel was changed last minute due to what they said was a system update and our reservation lost though we booked 5 months earlier and yet we had to move A little disappointing and not a great start, however Hotel de biaxa in Lisbon was amazing

    Madeira is one of the best tourism destinations ever visited, but driving around the island is quite a challenge and a 4x4 car or jeep would be highly recommended. They should in fact, give special instructions to drivers who are not experience with mountainous areas and offer alternative routes where ever available.

    Scenery was amazing, narrow roads and twisty and fun to drive. If you are not comfortable driving a standard get an automatic. But a standard is lots of fun on these roads
