Cons: The GPS was nuts.
Pros: We did receive an upgrade for the same price, so that was good .

Cons: the car we ordered was not available and we were given a smaller car which was not appropriate for our holiday
Pros: The assistant who replaced our vehicle was helpful and at no stage questioned the inappropriateness of the car we were initially suppled with.
Cons: Thrifty told us they did not have the car we had booked and paid for in August available and instead substituted our booked 5 seater SUV with luggage with a Suzuki Jimny (4 seats at a pinch but then no luggage space)saying it was the only car available - Totally unsatisfactory and after 3 days use in Hobart we knew we would not be able to complete our journey around Tasmania in this uncomfortable unsafe feeling car with inadequate seating. We returned it to the airport and fortunately they were
Pros: Service was quick and seamless

Cons: Sold fuel but not told that the car had a small fuel tank they did not take fuel for the value of the fuel sold to us.
Pros: Great service by supervisor but not so much by other agents who were very limited to make changes or help resolve issues for customers.
Cons: Had major issues with Discovers / Thrifty coordination, lots of duplication yet very inflexible system for any changes needed. Definitely won’t use again for this reason as need flexibility for when travel plans unexpectedly change.
Pros: There is not much to recommend. It was located in the airport, so I guess that's a plus? (Ctd from issues: a packet of Pocky, travel brochures and a child's travel game.)
Cons: Where to begin? We waited for over an hour while the vehicle was collected from the depot, despite arriving at the desk 10 minutes after our scheduled plane arrival time. Once we finally got the vehicle, while putting our childrens' seats in we discovered empty takeaway food containers, an empty soft drink bottle and a chocolate bar wrapper. After delivering these to the service desk we were told simply to email customer support. After we set off, we also found receipts and hotel check-in stubs,
Pros: Efficient. Vehicle upgraded at no extra cost. Was able to extend rental period by 1 day at reasonable cost
Cons: Rentals in Tasmania are expensive
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff both on pick up and drop off, couldn't have been better.
Cons: Absolutely nothing!
Cons: Shocking service, car was due a service and oil change and I was told there was no other vehicle so I had to ‘deal with it’ because I had insurance incase anything went wrong.
Pros: Quick, efficient. Located inside terminal.
Cons: Young staffer at the counter spent way too much time with customer before me (easily 15 minutes) patiently explaining, answering Qs etc to poor English speakers. I was next but by the time they were done, a long queue was behind me. Some training needed to handle such things, I think.

Cons: Agent trying to "upgrade" us to a car that didn't meet our requirements. Luckily for us we were familiar with the "upgrade" and were in a position to decline and an alternative vehicle was available.
Cons: air conditioner on cold did not work. Insufficient advice re how to put on hand brake, insufficient advice as to operating GPS.
Pros: The staff in the terminal were excellent upon pick up. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful and would definitely recommend him as he represented your company at SIXT really well.
Cons: The condition of the car was fairly poor. Due to car shortages, we were issued with a car that for the entire duration of the time had an error warning light on (that the company was aware of) placing us in unnecessary danger. The car had many many scratches, was dirty on pick up and we were shocked to be honest at what was charged for the quality that we received of a Kia which was flagged on hire a toyota kluger or similar but I'd hardly compare the two as being similar quality.
Pros: Very happy with the pick up and the car in general.
Cons: The reverse camera was inoperative. The drop off in Launceston was a bit confusing due to the change to Sixt. There were still Thrifty signs in the car park as well as Sixt signs and there was no-one attending the car park or terminal desk.
