Cons: Checked in online but had to reenter all details again at a terminal upon arrival, making the precheckin totally pointless and a waste of time Had to queue for a self-service terminal despite there being staff not helping customers available, they refused to help directly and said I had to use the self checkin. The self checkin process is ridiculous. No water in the wiper washer system of the car, leading me to strongly suspect the car was not checked properly prior to pickup

Pros: They were able to provide a good little car at a good price and were helpful and understanding in all dealings.

Cons: The car had no spare wheel - a serious safety issue which is unacceptable - and nearly stranded us in the middle of nowhere with no phone reception, and wasted a valuable holiday day getting fixed. The latex solution is useless for most punctures unless very small. I cannot recommend Bargain cars until you make sure that your cars have a spare.

Please attatch needs information prior to going on line Th attendant was good but clearly geared to sell me more rather than give me the keys and let me go. I had made one mistake in the online but that was due to the complication of the online details needed. So a slow key hand over but ok.

Cons: The description was compact SUV; it was just a small compact car. I don’t think you could call that an SUV when it’s that small and close to the ground! It maximum carried two bags, which was fine for what I needed.

I felt pressurized to buy additional insurance and was not given sufficient time or information to make an informed choice. This left us feeling very unhappy and therefore we would not recommend bargain rentals. Also the USB port was not able to be used which was very inconvenient as we needed to charge our phones while we were driving. The drop off process was very quick.

To have to pay for fuel to bring a car that kept breaking down back to the airport just to be able to swap to another car, and then have to pay for fuel for that one too is outrageous. The additional charges added to the claim were unreasonable. Make sure you have additional seperate excess insurance if you hire vehicles from Bargain Car Rentals.
