Pros: The good things about the Eastcoast car rental was they have the free shutle bus that ready in 15 minutes

Cons: The Eastcoast car rental officer tried to manipulative the customer by not telling us that the customer only need to pay the balance amount, because they said the pre-payment that have been deducted by the Discovercar was not receveid by Eastcoast car rentals and they demanded in order for customer to pick up the car, the customer need to pay the full amount on top of the pre-payment. This is very disappointed and un-professional.

Cons: Additional insurance cover to what the "third party" site offered. Misleading information from the beginning. Best not to use Discover Cars, and book straight with East Coast. This info should be linked on line as an option before the booking.

Pros: As I landed my phone stopped working, The driver to their yard put his own phone on hot spot so i could correct what was going on with my phone. Their way was really showing a well balanced team of individuals, just happy to be there and help if required.

Cons: The service was great but it was quite tricky to find the office when approaching from the North on the A3 (?). You can see it a mile off but the roads and roundabouts made it difficult to actually get to. The Sat Nav tells you to turn into a street/road but they are badly signposted, if at all (not the company's fault, probably the council's, maybe they need to talk to them ?).

Cons: Once car was returned i felt they didnt care anymore there was no help to lift suitcases into bus for return trip to airport. fella stodd and watched didnt offer to help. when we arrived it was a different story very helpful note it was differnet people

Cons: they were not flexible in swapping a big to a small car . Being a small car industry it was expensive with less options . I got a MG3 as I had opted for a Suv but preferred honda which was not there . MG was old - did nt have good pick on hills and speed which was needed when driving in Hobart . Over all the service was good but expensive and less options and hence would not prefer to go with them again .

Cons: The pick up time was long and as a couple of shuttles of clients arrived from airport at the same time there was no real queue or priority in getting rental car. People who arrived after us were served before us, in fact, after waiting longer than others who arrived on our shuttle we finally walked up to desk without being “called” to ensure we were served. Perhaps a better and fairer system could be implemented.

Pros: Very happy with the overall service, and shuttle from the air port. We appreciated the extra offers to cater to our needs however not necessary.

Cons: We returned the vehicle before the expected day however wasn't clear that we had already apid for it as the 24hr had lapsed. Poor communication on that part. We would've endeavored to return the vehicle prior as we didn't require the extra day.

Pros: Fairly efficient. You have to call to find the location for the shuttle but it's really not that complicated - I don't know why they don't just add a little map to their website. Shuttle was quick, car was clean and worked fine

Cons: Tried a hard upsell on insurance ($200 extra for the week to reduce excess! Don't do this, it's less than $50 for full travel insurance that will cover the car excess plus all your luggage etc). Then asked if we would like an upgrade to a larger car for $10 a day - I declined, as I had specifically hired the smallest car because it is easier to maneuver and costs less in petrol. Then they revealed they were actually out of the small cars! So just trying to make a profit on my inconvenience!!

Cons: It was more that I was unable to get hold of anyone at Discover Cars when we arrived and had trouble finding the place - your number was incorrect. Once someone at the airport said the company you used I could contact them direct.

Cons: There was a TOTAL lack of communication between your company and them. They were not aware that I had paid a deposit (via your Web page) and so made me pay extra - including insurance that I believe I didn't need. Really bad effort on your companies side.

Cons: When we went to pick up car, felt we were treated a little different because we went through a third party. The insurance on the car was somewhat unpleasant. East coast cars basically said your insurance offered wasn’t good, we would have problems dealing with an overseas agent and you would not be approachable. It was not what we wanted to hear. You were not represented well OR what they said was correct! Luckily we didn’t have any troubles with the car, that is no accidents
