Cons: No staff when dropping off the car. Office staff said; take a photo of the car, we will check it tomorrow. We are short of staff today, Sunday afternoon. I said: never, check the car now, I'm waiting. He did it in 20 minutes, than could we leave the car rental office.

Pros: Drop off was easy

Cons: My order was not in their system. They tried to get me to pay for a more expensive car because of this or to cancel my order. I provided a printed confirmation and had the Discover Car Hire agent on the phone confirming the order. No solution was presented. I was told there were no cars available. Then after 30 minutes my reservation showed up in their system and they magically had a car for me that they claimed there wasn't before.

Cons: - the overall approach in pushing us towards paying a higher rental fee - renting an already damaged car, where we might not record all damages at the first sight - making us pay for a small scratch on a plastic hubcap (which we did not observe causing and they failing to provide a proof whether we did it or not) around 3-4 times the cost of a full replacement of the hubcap - using cars with Slovakian, German or Austrian plates, which might suggest that its insurance is inappropriate

Pros: Replaced the first car without hassle. Return was smooth.

Cons: At pickup they tried to scam everyone with an "upgrade": they said the car I booked was not available, all they can give is a lot smaller one unless I pay an upgrade fee. I offered to pay 5o% of the upgrade fee, we settled at 60%. The first car I got was a piece of crap, but they were professional when I returned it and the 2nd car was good. (funny thing the 2nd car was an actual upgrade so I ended up with good value albeit at a higher cost than planned.)

Cons: The fact that initially we were offered a much smaller car than the one selected and only after going down to the parking lot and showing that we do not fit, were given other options (although initially we were told that there are no other options). However, the final car was fine, but this approach added to the time spent and the level of stress experienced.

Cons: 1. unclear insurance policy. when I ordered the car thru the internet I purchased the full coverage protection at the same time. at booth the agent told me that they have no idea about it and if I'll need the help it's my problem. i.e. the company will charge me according the their own policy and I'll be needed to settle the issue with the unfamiliar for me insurance company. which is very inconvenient 2. after the filling all the documents I was waiting for the car for an hour and a half! which

Cons: We asked for a specific car, because we had a lot of luggage. The car provided almost wasn't large enough. We had to use all the seats for luggage.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 800.00), Theft Protection, Roadside Assistance (in the country of pick-up), Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability, VAT (value added tax).
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In order to pick up the car, the renter and each additional driver must present the following documents: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The deposit amount is 1000 EUR.


Security Deposit will be doubled for using the following services: crossing country borders.

Deductible/excess will be charged per damage.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.

The following credit cards issued on the main driver's name are accepted: American Express, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card. Any other cards or cash payments are not accepted.
Cash, Debit cards, Prepaid cards is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Geographical restrictions
Crossing country borders to Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom is available for 10-45 EUR and a mandatory additional deposit in the amount of 2000 EUR.

Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge of 40 EUR per rental.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Ski rack, Snow chains, Winter tires.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid an additional charge per liter/gallon of missing fuel plus a 15 EUR refueling service charge.
Rental period
The maximum rental period per agreement is 29 days.
Business hours
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 29 minutes.
