Pick-up instructions
On arrival, please proceed to our rental counter located in the Terminal 2B arrivals hall near the tourist information centre. From here, the rental parking lot where your vehicle will be located is 600m from the terminal, around a 6-8 minute walk. If customers prefer, there is a free airport shuttle service to the rental carpark which runs every 15-20 minutes between 08:00 and 23:59 daily from outside the terminal building. Alternatively, customers can choose our V.I.P. pick-up and drop-off service. On arrival, a member of staff will meet you with your rental vehicle at the exit of the terminal on the arrivals level. On return, you can drop the vehicle in the same place (conveniently situated 50m from the terminal entrance). This service can be booked by calling the Budapest Airport branch on +36 1770 7070. Your credit card details, and flight number are required to book this service. An additional fee of EUR 25 (include VAT) will apply. Please be aware that we require at least 2 business hour's notice to facilitate this amenity and are unable to give a refund for unused services.

Rental Conditions

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Collision Damage Waiver (deductible: € 1200.00), Theft Protection, Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability (TPL), Premium location fee, Road tax, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the customer is not a resident of the following country(ies): EU. A driver license printed using a non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Japanese, Cyrillic, etc) must be supplemented by an International Driving Permit.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if it is accompanied by a regular driver's license, is issued by an official authority or government-authorized organization, and is in physical (not digital) form. For driver licenses from countries not party to the Geneva / Vienna Convention on Road Traffic (e.g., China), an official translation of the license in the following language(s): English, together with the original license, must be presented.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, Passport or ID card, booking voucher.
Deposit and deductible policy


Deductible/excess will be charged per damage.
Cross-border policy
Cross border rentals are allowed only upon previous request.
Additional charges will be applied in case the car is crossing state or region borders.

Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain-Mainland, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, San Marino.

In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).

Booked extras are not guaranteed. All extras are subject to availability at the rental counter.
During winter season (from 1st November until 15th April) Winter tires are included in price.

Certain additional drivers are subject to both an Additional Driver fee as well as either a Young Driver or Senior Driver fee.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
Winter tires are not mandatory in Hungary.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
The supplier will hold the vehicle for 0 minutes after your scheduled pick-up time as long as it is within their normal business hours. After this time, your booking may be canceled without refund.
