Cons: I strongly recommend do not get any close to this company Klass Wagen, in the pick up process your agent will do everything in his power to try and get his commission to selling you their insurance, he will begin to explain nicely then he will try to threat you and scare you and then he will be not polite and he will just do whatever we can to try and sell you his insurance repeatedly again and again not taking no as an answer. It was extremely unpleasant aggressive and left me with a bitter tas

Pros: The agent Jozsef threatened not to accept my rental if I did not take out their insurance policy at 2am. Then he threatened not to accept my credit card, which only had my initial on it for my first name despite evide.He also threatened that if I did not have the car fully valeted when I returned it they would charge me extortionately for a valet. In my experience as long as the car did not have any damage and was easily ‘cleanable’ it should not be valeted by the customer before returning it.

However, the person who took us in charge told us we were obligated to pay extra for full coverage because there is no base insurance on the car and the credit card would not cover in Hungary. It is a shame!!! We were forced to pay around 47€ a day extra (total 94€) to pick up the car. Really bad experience.

I had no phone to call them, was busy at the office and it was very slow getting the car. Gas tank was only half full ,got the car I picked not realizing it was a car with a lawnmower engine. It had few issues or should i say annoying things, having to re set lane and speed sensor from going off every time you started the thing, the 990cc engine might work in the city with only 1-2 persons

Even though there were many customers at once, there were 4 agents handling the customers, so the wait wasn't too long. Drop off: It took us 20 minutes from the moment we drove in to the moment we were dropped off at the airport. Even though we did not buy the special package, the return was smooth. The car general condition was very nice, we ordered an Toyota Aygo and got upgrade an Opel Corsa.

Nem mellesleg Discover Cars honlapján a foglaláskor teljes körű biztosítást kötöttem. Miután megtagadtam az extra költsèget a barátságosság is elszállt az ügyintèző rèszèről. Az autó átnèzèsekor a kèrdèseimre flegma válaszokat kaptam, nem mutatta meg mik a már meglèvő sèrülèsek a kocsin.

However when we returned the car they suddenly found several more scratches thus charging us thousands of euros. They forced me to sign a one sided contract with no way to protect myself. The whole experience was extremely humiliating.

I wiped the marks away with wet wipes in front of them, proving that it was dirt but they insisted on marking them as damage, threatening not to take me on the shuttle which would make me miss my flight if I did not sign the return papers. When I asked for the manager, they refused.

Cons: They basically "extort" an additional fee via services that are completely bogus, but unless you can fork a 2400euro+ safety deposit (which not all credit cards cover btw), you are forced to pay money for nothing, overall completely upsetting the initial cost. Also, I don't appreciate being asked for a Tripadvisor review on the spot when I return the car, in their presence and influence. It is anything but professional + makes me greatly question all the 5 star ratings I read prior to booking.

It gets much worse when they give you a 10cm ruler and you have to mark the size of each defect. After 20mins I broke as I couldn't imagen doing it on my return so I purchased Klass Wagen rent and full coverage for ~130Eur more

You get presented with 2 options - 1 buy their insurance (which costs more than the rental itself and non refundable) or leave a large deposit (€2800) and you have to cover any damage for the car. Cons: I don't like that the fuel tank isn't full at pick up, so you don't know how much you should put in when dropping off. Therefore twice I got vouchers for putting more fuel into the car ( about AU$100). However, it can be used only next time when I rent DIRECTLY from Klass Wagen - which is at the higher rate and may never happen as I'm from Australia. I feel that is not fair. Could rent the car for a month only initially, so when I wanted to extend prices were much higher, unacceptable for me.

Cons: BUD-126472328324 Used to be my favourite car rental company, rented from them many times before. Now, something has changed. The price of their 'full insurance' is a joke, almost twice as the price as your rental. Even worse, how aggressively they are trying to sell that cover. Showing you pictures of a small dent saying that something like that will cost you $600 to repair! Seriously? It's time to look for alternative options.

Cons: The picking up agent wanted in any way to sell us their insurance. In order to convince us he said a lot of fake aspects of the contact as we have no assistance in case of incidente or we have to wash the car before the return. The car was ok, but avoid klass wagen

Pros: Easy pickup and drop-off - car worked well. They treated us very well and I would reccomend them as well as rent from them again.

Cons: I was not happy that they didn't go with Discover Cars contract. They agreement between Discover Cars and the rental car companies needs to be improved greatly. Or stop the agreement altogether. So renters are not left thinking they have no choice but to ignore the previous agreement and go with the rental companies agreement. Overall Klass Wagen is a good company to deal with aside from the previous comments.

Cons: I have been strongly pressurized to buy their insurance despite the fact I had one with Discovercar. I have been give false info on this regard (i.e. "they will not pay you")and, at a certain point, I felt almost threatened. I have never had such a bad experience in my life.

Cons: A terrible experience at Budapest airport. The company did not keep the price that I got from discovercars web site....it was a shock for me,I have never had the situation like this. Instead the price I got from the website 407.45 CAD , I should pay 438 EUR ! Because the KW did not want ro rent me the car, that I was offered by discoverecars website , I rejected it and cancelled my booking. I rented the car with a different provider at the airport.

Cons: pick up in the dark --> had to use flashlight to inspect the car, was advised to take pictures of all of the car(how to do that in the dark?) in order to avoid discussions during dropoff..If they would ask an acce^ptable rate for the full casco i would allways include full casco with them, now i was covered by discovery insurance (covers the deposit). It would be more assured having full casco but the rates are bit exagerated, it feels like they want to make their profit via the 'casco insurance

Cons: The language barrier and the costs are different to what is advertised on the website. Massive smelly spill in the boot of the car; someone had attempted to clean it previously, but it was still obvious. The car wasn't filled with petrol as I was told, but I returned it with the same amount of petrol missing was it was ok. The car has an automatic lane sensor that can't be turned off, which is unhelpful on highways when frequently changing lanes.

Cons: A hard-sell technique for buying the extra insurance/full package. It cost more than the car rental itself, and was misleading in many ways. We declined, but the hard-sell was there nonetheless.

Also using a black light to check for damage on a car beyond the naked eye is also idiotic. I realize this is a way to scam people for money. Sadly we were taken advantage of. We brought the car back exactly how we got it other than some rain water on it. We travel a lot for business and so do our friends. I will NEVER recommend Klass Wagen.

Cons: The arrogant attitude of the agent when picking up the car was a real downer. She was unfriendly and not at all service-minded when some issues arose. You should also consider one thing when renting a car from Klasswagen Hungary. If you get a car with a Romanian licence plate (40 per cent of their cars are registered in Romania) you will pay double the price for fuel since cars registered outside Hungary do not benefit from the fuel price cap introduced by the Hungarian government.

Pros: Overall a good experience. I wasn't super impressed the price didn't match what Discovercars said I was paying for but the person at the desk adjusted once I complained. But the car was really good and fun to drive. I was a bit worried about insurance (I got it from Discovercars and declined the insurance from Klass Wagen (had to leave a deposit)) but I didn't damage the car and they weren't unreasonable at all when I dropped it off - just a quick check over for new damage.

Cons: They The car rental is not located in the airport, their rental office and car lot is a few kilometers from airport. You have to call them to send a shuttle to the airport terminal to pick you up. They insist on buying their full insurance even if you already have one. The car they gave me had more than 40 dents on it.
