Pros: The car was orribile, gear shift broken , tried to call assistance but never answered! Completely ignored all the calls. Had to drive 200km with car broken

Pros: What is Keddy? Is that the person I spoke to? If so, he was alright and helpful.
Cons: I don't like to be put under pressure to by their own insurance. After I refused a few times his attitude changed, it was obvious that he was not happy with my decision.
Pros: Good car - easy return, i was worried though as the extra insurance i paid for didn't provide the comfort i wanted. If there was a problem with the return Europcar/Keddy would claim against me and then its my job (only with a Police 'crime' number) to claim against my top up insurance. That's a scam - who would get a police crime number for a scrape that could easily happen anywhere
Cons: Wasn't pleased with the hard sell by at the Europcar pickup point about upgrading to something that would be 5 times the car I originally booked. I can understand a slight push for a small upgrade however something completely off the scale was a waste of time for both sides

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 26.
Maximum rental age is 75 years.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.
The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 2 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.
UK customers must bring their DVLA check code along with their photo ID. This check code can be obtained from the DVLA website.
UK residents that hold a non-UK licence may drive in the UK for up to 12 months from the time they become a resident. After 12 months, the overseas licence will be deemed illegal in the UK and it must be exchanged for the UK equivalent.
Residents of the following country(ies): United Kingdom are required to present the following document(s): passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill) in order to pick up the car.
Residents of the following country(ies): Non-UK are required to present the following document(s): passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, additional ID showing home address (e.g. Utility bill), proof of entry/exit into/out of the country in order to pick up the car.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.
A deposit will be charged if one of the following cards is used: Debit cards.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: Diners, Visa Debit Card, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card, MasterCard debit card.
The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Crossing country borders is allowed to the following countries: Ireland, Northern Ireland.

Written permission from the rental company is required.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.
Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Snow chains are allowed in icy/snowy conditions.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
