Cons: Wrong car was giving and the reverse gear stop working 18 days into the rental. Hertz Lamazia and Rende did not help. Hertz Lamazia did not pick up the phone after days of calling. Rende stated to deal with Lamazia

Pros: Level of personal service.
Cons: It is Italy so the car is likely to have damage but local hertz office had not updated their system with the latest damage. So had to spend time but useful time to document the damage, provide the report and obtain an updated damage receipt.

A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.

At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to leave the deposit only with following methods: Diners, MasterCard credit card, VISA credit card, American Express credit card.
For the Luxury, Premium, Cabrios, Special car group, a minimum of two credit cards issued on the main driver's name are required.
All credit cards must be capable of the CHIP and PIN verification; cards without this capability will not be accepted.
