Cons: ALL IT S A UNACCEPTABLE DEAL
Cons: Bad service, unfriendly staff, pressure tactics to buy their Excess Policy, charging Euros 216 for alleged damage to the car without even telling me at drop off. The car is perfectly good.

Cons: 1. the wait times to pick up the car 2. when you book online you're not told you can't pick up the car until at least 2 hours later. 3. when you book online, you're not told you need to pick up the car within 6hrs of your stated collection time.
Cons: The fact that they told me the insurance cover I purchased through discover cars was worthless and insisted I bought their local cover at a ridiculously high price. Refused to contact Discover Cars to resolve problem and told me that any scratch on the car would cost at least 300 Eoro
Cons: The staff not serious. I personally presented a delay problem, they said there was no problem at all for then, with no alert, holding back ammend money from my VISA. Not serious. And huge stress convincing me to make full insurance, so paying more than the duble price
Cons: Waited 1h20min to pick the keys. Under the sun with 2 small kids. Asked for help, completly unpolite and bad treated by the responsable of the agency. Car not well cleaned... chewing gum in the seats? Whole experience a disaster.

Cons: The staff were threatening and full of scare stories about paying for damage. I had to tell her 5 times I didn't want to pay for any extra insurance and each time she tried to push me over the edge with another scare story. Awful woman!

Pros: NOTHING. Long lines at the rental counter and rude staff.
Cons: The car was awful. The staff was awful. I felt like they were constantly looking for something to over charge me for.
Cons: Very long wait to get car, too much sales pushing about insurance, totally inflexible when we wanted to extend our rental - do not recommmend!
Pros: Pick up and drop off desk was easy to find. Precautions were taken against Covid. Car was clean and in good condition.
Cons: When I arrived to collect the car I was made to take out insurance again and told that the full coverage I had paid for online was to a separate company, and that I had to pay another 126 euros to the company on site. This was never explained online when I paid the extra insurance for full coverage.
Pros: Xavier was good guy
Cons: Partial fuel option cost me €23 to return a full tank.
Cons: Terrible service. No paperwork, nor compulsory security items in the car. Car is spanish with spanish insurance!! No possibilities to contact the Marseille office, only platform in Spain which is refusing to connect to the branch. Car in poor state. Agent laughing when complaining.... etc

Pros: If one agreed to pay their 'real' high pricing, everything went quite smoothly
Cons: I was not the only one to be trying to pick up a car at an 'agreed' & confirmed rate that was not real. The Goldcar staff insisted on a much higher price and my having to return the car two hours earlier and clean it on the day, as well as the much higher excess. Each time I agreed to one of their demands, they would make up another one. As I was rushing for a hospital appointment and would be coming from visiting my father in hospital on the drop off day, I effectively had to agree to pay.
Cons: There was no mentioning about the "optional" insurance on the page. We went to the car rental company with the expectation to get a car for 20 euros a day because this is the price indicated during the booking having already prepaid 70 euros. At the counter they then made it appear as a matter of fact that we need to pay 200 euros for an extra insurance. Be aware of such nasty behavior. Get an external assurance in advance which is much cheaper and categorically reject these "offers".

Cons: They scam customers out of extra money in a way that no other rental company does. I am reporting them to trading standards for there practice.
Pros: The desk agent was very nice and helpful. He was great in explaining a difficult situation. I was upset that it was costing me so much more than I was prepared for and he was very patient and kind.
Cons: That the extra fees were not made clear in advance.
Pros: Really bad company ... would highly suggest no one use them ever
