Pros: The drop off was fast and efficient, with very friendly staff.

Cons: I booked a seven seater and rang a couple of days earlier to confirm that it would be available. When I arrived, it was not. I had to take a nine seater van which was much bigger, so I felt I had to take out extra insurance and pay for an extra driver. It was not good, and I cannot understand why - given that I had checked 48 hours earlier - they couldn't have given me the car I booked FIVE MONTHS earlier.

Cons: I just still don’t understand why am I paying all of these extra fees, okay I’ll be fine with paying 5000-6000 for an EXTRA insurance but having me pay extra 1000 - 2000 even though I don’t know why am I paying them and the man at the service desk keeps scaring us and is making us think that we have to pay more, definitely wouldn’t recommend for anyone would love if you call or contacted again

Cons: We adhered to the terms and conditions provided, the agent dealing with us that the card we used was a debit card. This is despite the card being a visa credit, of which we applied for specifically for the car payment. He insisted that the system classed it as a debit and therefore he could not except it, even though I highlighted the differences between the credit card being used and my currently held visa debit. He offered us no solutions and very little sympathy, extremely unhelpful. Try AVIS

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: ~€ 2700.00), Third Party Liability (TPL), Vehicle registration fee, Free modifications.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 19 years.
A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

An International Driving Permit is required (in addition to your regular driver license) if the national driver license is not written in the following language(s): English.
Driver licenses from the following country(ies): China will be accepted only if the translation is approved by the Consulate or Embassy.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card and will be released within 30 days after drop-off.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: GPS Navigation system, Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Ski rack, Snow chains.
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

During winter season (from 15.11 until 30.04) Winter tires are included in price.

Delivery/Collection service is available only by previous request. Additional charges will be applied.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Electric vehicles must be returned with the same battery charge they had when picked up to avoid additional charges (on a per kWh basis). An additional admin fee will be charged if a vehicle is returned with less than 80 % battery charge remaining.
Additional information
Winter tires are recommended during the winter season but are not mandatory.
Snow chains are recommended in icy/snowy conditions, especially when traveling in mountainous areas.
Business hours
Service outside of business hours is available by request and for an additional charge.
Period of time, during regular working hours, when the car is still guaranteed for the customer, if the customer is late for pick up (the grace period) is 30 minutes.
