Pros: The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful and quick.

Cons: I wasn’t told anything about operating the car. I couldn’t find a gps, or radio or speed setter. I also had SO much trouble refueling the car…… I wasn’t shown where the petrol lid was, I didn’t know how to open it as there was no button and then, it needed special petrol. I was very stressed filling the car with petrol and had to get assistance from 4 other people at the petrol station. If you want people to re-fill the car = you need to show then the information ended to do so

Cons: Our rental car was a Cheri. It was an awful car to drive on the open road. When I was driving along, the car would make the steering wheel pull sharply to one side and then it ceased! This was absolutely awful! It was dangerous & not necessary! I could not read the speedometer or any thing else on the dash screen because of the refection upon the screen.

Cons: GPS on a new car didn't recognise freeways years old in Adelaide and also took us on a "fire trail" in the Adelaide hills. Gearbox changed up and down annoyingly on cruise control

Cons: Until the problem above has been resolved it seems they may have reneged on the agreement they had with Discover Cars and are attempting to charge me significantly more than was agreed when the car was booked through Discover Cars.

Cons: Just had a hick cup in picking up the car for it is in my husband name and was able to have his flight and my flight was cancelled and i am the one that arranged the rental car.

Pros: The car was ready for collection, at the nominated time. The vehicle was clean, fully fuelled and ready to go.

Cons: The Europcar desk is at the furthest point away, for airport arriving passengers. The car was larger than the vehicle I requested. This meant that I used considerably more fuel than I had planned. The service assistant offered no explanation of the vehicles features, preferring to remain at the desk.

Rate includes
Free cancellation with a full refund up to 48 hours before your pick-up time, Unlimited mileage, Loss Damage Waiver (damage deductible: ~€ 3010.00), Airport surcharge, Third Party Liability, VAT (value added tax), Free modifications.
Rate excludes
The following surcharges may apply: Premium Location surcharge.

E-Toll/Sunpass activation fee is 3.30 AUD per day.
An E-Toll is offered in order to avoid violation fees.
Mileage policy
If the customer plans to drive a large number of miles, he/she must return to the local car rental office to inspect the vehicle before reaching 10000 km.
Driver requirements
Minimum rental age is 21 years.
For certain car groups, minimal rental age is 25 years.

A young driver fee applies to drivers under the age of 25.

There is no maximum age.
A Senior driver fee is not applied.

The driver license must have been issued by authorized authorities at least 1 year(s) before the date of the commencement of the rental.

The driver license must be written in English alphabet.
In addition to the regular driver license, an International Driving Permit is also mandatory if the driver license is written in a language other than that of the renting country and/or in characters that cannot be read in the renting country.
Please note that the International Driving Permit is valid only if accompanied by the regular driver license.

In addition to documents mentioned previously, the customer will need the following: passport, valid driver license, credit card on a main drivers name, booking voucher, flight information.
Deposit and deductible policy
A deposit will be blocked on the customer's credit card until the end of the rental period.
The exact deposit is determined on pick up since the amount is dependent on the type of vehicle.

If the customer takes the following extra equipment: GPS Navigation system, Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age), Snow chains, then an additional amount of deposit will be held on their credit card.
Payment policy
At time of pick up, customers will be required to pay the amount of the rental and a deposit.
It is possible to pay and leave the deposit only with the following payment methods: MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Diners.
Cash is/are not accepted.

The main driver must provide a physical payment card in their name with enough funds to cover the deposit to pick up the car. The rental company will neither accept virtual credit cards (e.g., GooglePay or ApplePay) nor someone else’s card (including family members).
Cross-border policy
It is forbidden to cross country borders.
In the event that Cross Border & Territorial Restrictions are violated, all protections lose their validity.

Using a ferry is allowed on the previous request and for an additional charge with special permission from the car rental company. Travel to the following territory(ies): Kangaroo Island, Stradbroke Island, Magnetic Island, Bribie Island, Phillip Island, Bruny Island is allowed.
Information on the exact fee amount is available by request.
Optional extras and services
Available special equipment: Baby seat (up to 1 year of age), Child seat (2-4 years of age), Booster seat (4-10 years of age).
Prices for extras are shown on the booking page.

Adding additional drivers is allowed.
There is an additional charge for each driver.
Underage additional drivers are subject to both Young Driver and Additional Driver fees.
When picking up the vehicle, all drivers must be present and must provide valid documentation.

Delivery/Collection service is available within city limits. Additional charges will be applied, depending on the distance.
Fuel policy
The vehicle is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with the same amount in order to avoid additional charges.
Additional information
If the customer would like to extend the rental period, he/she should return to the car rental office at the end of the rental period to sign a new agreement.
The contract will be extended with prices updated according to the prices for each period.
